We have been building all phases of construction for over 35 years here in the Spokane area. Building several of our own homes from the ground out. About 15 years ago my wife and I decided to start our own construction company and have been doing all variety of projects, from new builds to remodel. We are happy to do small projects. We currently are wanting to focus on interior finishes such as kitchen and bathroom remodeling, painting, trim, door and window replacements and home repairs. "Working with Sergey Stefoglo, owner of Elite Construction, was a great experience.
From day one I knew we were in good hands. They showed up when they said they would and immediately got to work.
We needed a new roof badly and our kitchen required some serious help. First thing, Sergey got the roofers tearing off the old shingles, being conscientious of all the shrubs around the house and keeping the area neat and tidy from all the debris.
The new roof is beautiful and has received many compliments from our neighbors.
We now have peace of mind on rainy days.
I demoed the kitchen and Sergey moved in and put down a new subfloor, to help even out the wows in our 107 year old Victorian house. They laid 12 inch red and yellow vinyl tiles in checkerboard style, adding a charming Alice In Wonderland feeling.
Sergey and his nephew Val, cabinet maker extraordinaire, patiently worked with my wife Mary Gayle and me to design the counters and cabinets to fit our specific needs. The kitchen is quite large and was poorly utilized with a huge empty space
in the middle of the floor, suited for square dancing. They built a new counter along the wall that projects 6ft out and 3ft wide,
we now have a peninsula filling up the vast wasteland. A beautiful 2.5? thick cedar countertop, made in Sergey's cabinet shop,
gives us a great area to prep foods. Along another wall of cabinets he installed a dishwasher, a copper sink and a granite countertop. The custom cabinets are absolutely beautiful, made with top quality materials, built to last and get a lot of attention from friends. They raised the floor in the back pantry level to the other half of the kitchen where we have a table and chairs,
and laid individual vinyl board floor. The red and yellow tile looks great butted up against the vinyl,
giving a nice separation between the kitchen and the eating area.
Sergey's crew tore out on old chimney from the roof down through our bedroom on the second floor, through our dining room to the basement, tarped off the areas and kept the fine dust from getting all over our furniture and artwork. They did some insulating and weatherstripping around the attic doors and installed two storm doors to our front and back entrances.
They mortared and rocked in three openings in the foundation, matching the existing rocks.
Before leaving at the end of each day, they cleaned up after themselves, keeping all their tools off to the side.
All the work done by Elite Construction was top notch and they took great pride in what they did.
They were cool and had a lot of patience during those indecisive, mind changing moments my wife and I put them through.
Sergey has tons of knowledge and the skills to build just about anything. He's got a vast resource of suppliers and knows where to get everything you need. I got involved in a couple of side projects along the way and Sergey was always willing to give advice and lend me hand when needed.
Our kitchen was transformed into an exciting space Mary Gayle and I now revel in.
Kitchens seem to be the gathering place for house parties and our newly remodeled one is certainly a big hit with our friends.
We love our new kitchen and will enjoy entertaining friends and family for many years to come. 
Over the course of time spent remodeling our house, Mary Gayle and I became friends with Sergey and his crew and
would hire Elite Construction for any building or remodeling jobs that come up in the future.
Working with these guys was a fun and rewarding experience and if I can sell enough paintings,
we will have them build a new studio for me to make art, a little dream on the horizon.
