"If I could give Scott 10 stars I would. He did a beautiful job installing a new kitchen countertop with Wilsonart laminate. He was responsive to all my inquiries and was available sooner and with a better price than anyone else we contacted. He is a one man show, learned his craft from his father and takes pride in a job well done. The seams in the laminate are virtually invisible. We thoroughly enjoyed having him in our home and I would hire him again in a heartbeat."

"Dave and his team did an amazing job on our kitchen. We had a complete tear out. It all cost a bit more than I had planned, but that was because of the options i ended up choosing. Quartz counter tops, stained hickory cabinets, and huge new sink basin. Could not be happier with these items!"

"I was so impressed with their attention to detail, professionalism, and expertise in their trade. As a novice, they could have cut corners and I would have never known the difference, however, they went the extra mile to do things right. I am very pleased with their work and will be sending business their way and using them again in the future. Shop around so you have something to compare them to. You will not find a more thorough and professional landscape company. Nice work ProScape! It was a pleasure doing business with you!

"From the first contact to this review, Kibuk Tile has been an awesome business to deal with!!! Response times were very fast, and the work was nothing short of perfection! Vasilly and his assistant were very efficient! My grandfather started a floor covering business in Denver in the 1930’s, which became one of the top contractor’s in the business. So, I knew what I wanted to see for my new floor, and this team delivered! I would definitely hire them again!!! Thank you, Kibuk Tile, LLC., for making my new marble floor such an easy project to manage!!"

"I could tell from the minute Stan Petriyenko of Superior Building Concepts came to give me a bid on my primary bathroom remodel that he was an experienced and knowledgeable professional. He measured carefully, listened to what I hoped to do asking pertinent questions. He also brought up ideas I hadn’t thought of. He provided a thorough and detailed bid. After I accepted the bid he did a fantastic job of keeping me informed on the schedule and this continued throughout the project. I was always informed about what would be happening next on the project and the times he or his subcontractors would arrive. At the start of the remodel Stan met me at the plumbing supply and tile / countertop showrooms and gave me helpful tips and recommendations on products. He next set up dust shielding and floor / carpet protection. The work area and path from the entry door were kept organized and clean throughout. All of the subs used were experienced providing excellent workmanship."

Customers say: Super punctual
"I called Rob just before 6:00 on a Friday evening. I expected to get his voicemail but he answered within 2 rings. We are in the process of selling our home and need to make a few repairs. We weren't happy the contractor suggested by our realtor, so with just a week left to get the repairs done I got on the phone. Rob was my first call, and even though he is unable to get the work done in this short timeframe, I would definitely call him again. He is courteous, professional, and was genuinely sympathetic to our situation. It's easy to see why he has so many excellent reviews!

"The Marteeny Construction folks did a great job! They came when they said they would, did exactly what I asked, and their quality was great, even in challenging spots! Would highly recommend!"

Butcher block countertops come in three main styles, each offering a unique look and function. Flat grain, also known as face grain, showcases the natural wood patterns, giving your kitchen a modern and elegant appearance. Edge grain is made from long, narrow wood strips, making it sturdy and providing a consistent grain pattern. End grain features a checkerboard pattern that is highly durable and perfect for heavy food preparation. Each style caters to different aesthetic preferences and usage needs, enhancing your kitchen's look and functionality.
With proper care, wood countertops can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years. To keep yours looking like new, clean up spills immediately and reseal the surface regularly—ideally once a month in the first year, then twice a year after that. Regular maintenance helps preserve the wood's beauty and durability for decades.
Wood countertops aren't hard to maintain if you keep up with regular care. Simply clean them with mild soap and water after use and reseal them monthly during the first year (then twice a year afterward). Using a food-grade oil or sealant protects the wood from damage. With a bit of routine maintenance, your countertop will stay beautiful and durable.
Wood countertops are sanitary with proper care and maintenance. By sealing them with a food-grade sealant and cleaning them regularly with mild soap and water, you create a barrier that prevents bacteria from getting into the wood. Always dry the surface thoroughly after cleaning to keep it hygienic and safe for food prep.
It's best to oil raw wood countertops once a month during the first year. After that, you can oil them twice yearly to keep them in good shape. If your countertop is professionally stained or sealed, you might not need to oil it as often. Regular oiling helps prevent drying and cracking, preserving the wood's natural beauty and durability.
