We met with a few kitchen remodelers and went with West End Kitchen for two main reasons - the price was around what we were expecting for this type of job, and equally as important, Trevor seemed to share the same vision for how the final product would look.  What we got from Trevor was not only a fantastic finished product, but the professional insight to share with us options that we did not know were available.  The complete details of the remodel are:

Removed wall between dining room and kitchen

Installed new granite countertops with raised breakfast bar and new sink

Installed new tile backsplash

Installed new tile floor

Installed all 5 appliances (fridge, microwave, hood, dishwasher and oven)

Removed one of two windows, replaced with new, custom cabinet.  The windows were originally connected, Trevor did a great job in reducing it to one window; you'd never know a second one was originally there

Installed under cabinet lights, ceiling light, and pendant lights

The cost of $20,808 included everything but the following:

The cost of the appliances

The cost of the ceiling and pendant lights

The cost of the new hardware on the existing cabinets

We kept our existing cabinets, but had new cabinets added (as noted above).  Trevor did a lot of work in re-fitting some of the existing cabinets, moving one from the now torn down wall to a different spot.  Our fridge was also too tall for the existing spot, he was able to raise the cabinet a few inches and it looks great

The sink, floor and backsplash tile, and under-cabinet lights were included in the $20,808

Our estimate before any project work was $20,808, so despite having a few unexpected surprises, the final cost was exactly what we were quoted at to start.

"This is the second time I have worked with Mike's company. He is always very responsive, calling me back within a day of inquiry. He has come to check out the project, gave me a detailed estimate of the project. My wooden front steps had areas of rot as did the adjoining deck.  Both needed replacing. His workers were prompt, polite and so easy to work with. Quality of the work is excellent, including iron railings constructed by one of the workers. Cleanup was great.
