"Let me start by saying I am thrilled with my new countertops. Everyone I dealt with at this company was friendly and professional. They have very competitive prices and really stand out by offering a free sink and free installation. The two gentlemen that did my installation were absolutely wonderful. They were meticulousand ensured everything was level and properly supported prior to laying the granite. They laid drop cloths and cleaned behind themselves as they went. I will certainly be recommending this company to anyone looking to purchase granite countertops.

"Bill did a pretty good job installing our tile backsplash, though he said that he doesn't do lots of tile installation. He was able to start work a couple of days after we first contacted him. The job took him several hours longer than he intially estimated, but he stuck to his initial quote, which I appreciate. There were some minor spacing issues between some of the installed tile (if you look closely you can see the seam of one of the tile sheets, but it's usually covered anyway so no big deal), and the electrical outlets are not entirely flush with their covers. All in all, though, we added the new backsplash & countertops to get us through a few years until we can gut our kitchen and completely renovate it. This job looks good and will definitely serve that purpose."

"The two painters arrived on time and went straight to work. They covered all the furniture and in the 8 hour time frame they painted the walls of three rooms and cleaned up. (I did not have them do any trim work because I didn't think they would have time).
I did all the main prep work (moved the furniture and removed all items from the walls including switch plates and outlet plates) to ensure they had enough time to paint everything and the only thing I needed to provide was the paint.
My only complaints:
1. they didn't know they would need a ladder even though the paperwork stated vaulted ceiling.
2. the painted a few of the outlets and switches (partially) as well as parts of the trim in some areas. Luckily the paint color is light enough that you wouldn't notice it on the trim unless you were looking for it. Hence the reason I noticed it well after they left.
Otherwise good work.

"The whole experience was wonderful! Calvin Lee came to our home to measure the space and provided exactly what we asked for as our remodel design. Jason and his crew worked very hard to complete our kitchen as quickly as possible while doing excellent work. Christian always answered question and addressed concerns as the process went on. Jason followed up each evening to let us know what would happen next. They arrived on time each day worked full days. We got all new cabinets, flooring, countertops, lighting and paint. We couldn’t be happier with our new beautiful kitchen!"

"Very trustworthy, responsive and reliable. Renovated our kitchen and installed hardwood over 2 years ago. We did not consider anyone else when we decided to renovate our hall bath 3 months ago."

Butcher block countertops come in three main styles, each offering a unique look and function. Flat grain, also known as face grain, showcases the natural wood patterns, giving your kitchen a modern and elegant appearance. Edge grain is made from long, narrow wood strips, making it sturdy and providing a consistent grain pattern. End grain features a checkerboard pattern that is highly durable and perfect for heavy food preparation. Each style caters to different aesthetic preferences and usage needs, enhancing your kitchen's look and functionality.
With proper care, wood countertops can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years. To keep yours looking like new, clean up spills immediately and reseal the surface regularly—ideally once a month in the first year, then twice a year after that. Regular maintenance helps preserve the wood's beauty and durability for decades.
Wood countertops aren't hard to maintain if you keep up with regular care. Simply clean them with mild soap and water after use and reseal them monthly during the first year (then twice a year afterward). Using a food-grade oil or sealant protects the wood from damage. With a bit of routine maintenance, your countertop will stay beautiful and durable.
Wood countertops are sanitary with proper care and maintenance. By sealing them with a food-grade sealant and cleaning them regularly with mild soap and water, you create a barrier that prevents bacteria from getting into the wood. Always dry the surface thoroughly after cleaning to keep it hygienic and safe for food prep.
It's best to oil raw wood countertops once a month during the first year. After that, you can oil them twice yearly to keep them in good shape. If your countertop is professionally stained or sealed, you might not need to oil it as often. Regular oiling helps prevent drying and cracking, preserving the wood's natural beauty and durability.
