"called Daniel Barrientos for an estimate fir Quartz countertops. He came to my house with plenty of samples, he started measuring and he gave je a quote . Daniel explained clearly what his price included step by step. He explain what I needed to do to get ready for when he would come in to install. He called me regularly to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. Which I did. He kept close contact with me until the day of service. He arrived on time and completely finished on time. Daniel and his workers even vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves!!! Wow!!! Impressed!!! Daniel explain how to maintain the quartz patiently. I was truly blessed having Daniel as my countertop services provider! He installed my new sink and faucet. Danielâ s business is highly recommended personally from me! Thank you very much Daniel! Your many years of experience is so obvious!"

"A kitchen remodel can be stressful, but this team made the entire experience surprisingly enjoyable. They listened to every idea, offered creative solutions, and treated my home with respect throughout the project. The finished kitchen feels brighter, more functional, and built to last. Every cabinet, countertop, and finishing touch reflects quality craftsmanship. It's rare to find a company that combines skill, honesty, and excellent customer service so well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a kitchen renovation."

"Ken was extremely professional and knowledgeable when helping us design our kitchen. He offered a wide variety of cabinet design and colors, as well as an array of different countertop options. What ended up being a deciding factor in us choosing to go with Ken, was his ability to show us the value in the products we were selecting. He was never trying to simply sell us a kitchen, but rather was helping up build our new forever kitchen the home we plan on retiring in. I could not recommend Ken enough!"

"They did a great job. They rebuilt my closet, hung curtain rods, fixed a kitchen cabinet and drawers as well as a few other small projects. It was very reasonably priced and done quickly. I would definitely hire again."

"The whole process was outstanding!! I’m someone who doesn’t like construction. The dust especially. But I also wanted an upgrade. I interviewed 3 contractors. Tim Armitage being one of them. He by far was a stand out. Not only was he very friendly and funny but his knowledge of construction was mind blowing. I ended up hiring RCD and was so happy I did. Tim’s crew were very nice and respectful. I didn’t feel uncomfortable. And that’s a big deal to me. Because I work from home I had to stay there during the construction process. Being very dust sensitive they would put plastic up wherever they were working. They also cleaned up the area every day after they were done. I felt they always went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Tim was great at always keeping the lines of communication open. He always answered his phone. Which I really appreciate. I can be kind of picky. I expect the best and I got it. The project was done in the time frame I was promised. Tim also has an eye for the finishes. He helped me pick out paint colors , tile, countertops etc. so that everything flowed nicely. The project went so smoothly! And for that I was so grateful. My kitchen and bathroom are beautiful. I would highly recommend them. Thank you RCD for a job well done!!"

"We recently had our kitchen cabinets updated by Payless Kitchen Cabinets and Bath Makeover and overall it was a really good experience. Our kitchen was about 15 years old and the cabinets were still solid but looked outdated, so we decided to go with cabinet refacing instead of a full remodel. From the first consultation, the team was very helpful in explaining the options. They showed us different cabinet door styles and finishes and helped us pick something that would brighten up the kitchen without going over our budget. What I appreciated most was that they didn’t pressure us to upgrade to things we didn’t need. The installation took about two days. The crew arrived on time both days and made sure to cover the floors and countertops before starting. They were very respectful of the house and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. The final result honestly surprised us. Overall, we’re very happy with the outcome and would recommend Payless"

Butcher block countertops come in three main styles, each offering a unique look and function. Flat grain, also known as face grain, showcases the natural wood patterns, giving your kitchen a modern and elegant appearance. Edge grain is made from long, narrow wood strips, making it sturdy and providing a consistent grain pattern. End grain features a checkerboard pattern that is highly durable and perfect for heavy food preparation. Each style caters to different aesthetic preferences and usage needs, enhancing your kitchen's look and functionality.
With proper care, wood countertops can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years. To keep yours looking like new, clean up spills immediately and reseal the surface regularly—ideally once a month in the first year, then twice a year after that. Regular maintenance helps preserve the wood's beauty and durability for decades.
Wood countertops aren't hard to maintain if you keep up with regular care. Simply clean them with mild soap and water after use and reseal them monthly during the first year (then twice a year afterward). Using a food-grade oil or sealant protects the wood from damage. With a bit of routine maintenance, your countertop will stay beautiful and durable.
Wood countertops are sanitary with proper care and maintenance. By sealing them with a food-grade sealant and cleaning them regularly with mild soap and water, you create a barrier that prevents bacteria from getting into the wood. Always dry the surface thoroughly after cleaning to keep it hygienic and safe for food prep.
It's best to oil raw wood countertops once a month during the first year. After that, you can oil them twice yearly to keep them in good shape. If your countertop is professionally stained or sealed, you might not need to oil it as often. Regular oiling helps prevent drying and cracking, preserving the wood's natural beauty and durability.
