Get matched with top deck pros in Ames, NE

"Marco was on top of everything and his crew was great. I had a covered deck put on. They were here the whole week and the crew picked up every single day so that we did not have to worry about stepping on nails, or my kids messing with their tools. They washed the deck down when done, and even aerated the part of the yard that they trampled down while working on the deck. Our deck looks and feels amazing, And have gotten so many compliments on it in just a few short days. It's difficult to find someone nowadays that responds in a timely manner, and professional. Could not be more pleased with their work on the deck."

"We hired Nebraska Deck and Stain to stain our deck Mike kept us informed on scheduling, which was wonderful. We knew exactly when they were coming. The crew was fantastic. Took great care to ensure only the deck would be stained. Masked off windows and covered patio below. Friendly and informative. Walked the perimeter of deck to ensure we were pleased. Highly recommend this company"

"Mike Welniak impressed me first by answering his own phone. He came right on time the next day to give me estimates for tearing out an old on-grade wood deck and replacing it with a stamped concrete patio (about $3,000 total), replacing a one-third section of my driveway, and building a new landing from my back door to the new patio ($1,400). I was glad to get on Mike's schedule in March right after the last of the snow melted. In between bouts of inclement weather, he kept in touch with my husband and me to advise us of good weather days and anticipated progress. By mid-April, our deck and steps were complete even with weather delays. Mike's crew was busy every minute. All of them did a good job of cleaning up the concrete work and minimal stress on our lawn. My neighbors came by constantly to see the work in progress, and Mike got at least two more jobs from people who liked what they saw in my yard. I wouldn't be surprised to find my neighbors partying on my great new patio now. My husband is a structural engineer who works constantly with industrial concrete. He also was pleased with Mike's work, attention to detail, product knowledge and communication skills. I'd recommend Mike and his crew on any concrete related project. He doesn't specialize in wood landing construction, but he did a nice job on that, too. I'm very glad I found Mike on Angie's List."

"We engaged Paul Stoural and his team at Marathon Services, Inc. to install an exterior door and build a deck in August of 2015.  Our entire experience from preconstruction to the final punch list was exceptional.  Our initial preconstruction meeting with Marathon was during the heart of their busy season.  This didn't stop them from delivering detailed specifications and answering all questions to our satisfaction prior to signing a quote.  During fieldwork Marathon did a great job of delivering the services that were promised during preconstruction.  We ran into an unforeseen issue at the end of fieldwork.  Marathon came up with a creative and accommodating solution to get the job done, while keeping all parties happy.  We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marathon to anyone in the market for a new deck, and we plan to engage them in the future for other projects.

Thanks, Marathon!     "

"The work provided by A+ Summer Construction, LLC was excellent. The crew's work was very organized and efficient; which provided a very prompt completion of our deck in one day. Any of our questions were answered clearing and any recommendations by the builder were explained for approval before proceeding. We hope to use their experience for future projects and recommend them to others."
