Matthew was personable, understood my preferences in style and values and was flexible in the design and material selection. He was always 'above-board' (several other contractors had told me, when estimating the work, said: 'we can just do the work without a permit') - he permitted the initial work efficiently and the subsequent refiling for modifications after underway. My only concern was the delay in getting the project going, but that is not unsurprising in the covid context. I understood we were 'next in line' after another project that took longer than anticipated. I appreciated the honesty and clear communication throughout the wait. Once underway, the team was clean and courteous and very respectful of my neighbors (who commented to me positively about the team, unsolicited). Matthew put in extra hours to get the work done quickly. The final product came out great. Looking forward to enjoying it fully this year!
