The job Charlie did for me involved replacing the porch of my old house in the Hyattsville Historic District to match its original appearance. Because of the age of the house, the building permit office required some work-arounds that wouldnâ t be needed ordinarily. It took two months to obtain the permit, and Charlie was a bull dog through the several rounds of exchanging drawings.
His proposal was detailed, and he agreeably made the few adjustments I requested. Throughout the job he was exacting of his work crew and, himself, corrected some of their flaws.
Finally, the cost of the job was totally reasonable.

"V-Tile installed new engineered wood floor in our house during a large Remodelling project. Timur figured out how to smoothly connect the old and the new floor that differed in height, something that Lowe s subs refused to work with because of the complexity and uncertain results.

The floor went in quickly with minimal disruption of our routine. In the old part of the house the floating floor bounces a little up and down in a few areas because of the old saggy joists that we chose not to replace. Timur warmed us about this issue but we still hoped for a miracle:-) it does not bother us too much though.

Timur also installed trim and constructed a new staircase. The staircase is honestly the most beautiful thing in our house right now. Trim install was a challenge in the old part of the house and where the old and new connect. Timur had to think of solutions and the results exceeded my expectations. Before, you could see an old part of the house vs the new addition. Now everything just flows: floor and trim.

We were so happy with his work, we rehired him immediately to install doors. Again, he had to work around the mistakes made by the previous contractor who left us with uneven wall openings that were too small or too big for standard doors. Timur won t simply install whatever you buy and blame it on the product or the previous contractor. He will come up with solutions and won t rest until the homeowner is content with the results.

I am going to rehire him again in the nearest future to complete yet another project. You do not go looking for another contractor after you have found a good one:-)"
