So here’s the thing, … I’ve found over the years that hiring a Handy Man that is reliable, competent, reasonably priced, and has proof of insurance extremely difficult. This is the first time I hired, ‘The Handy Duo’, so I was taking a risk. Here are my thoughts on their work. 1. They said what they were going to do and they did it. 2. They arrived on time. 3. They provided a timeline and came in early. (IE, they said they’d take 3 days and they finished in two. They exceeded the expectation.) 4. Their work product was quality. Summary: When you hire a handy man your establishing a relationship with another person/company. I’ve found that so often with contractors that they are horrible communicators. When I called them, .. they answered. When I texted them they responded very quickly. In person they explained what they would do in plain simple terms. Their work product was great. "This was alright. The carpet was pretty bad so he couldn’t guarantee it could be cleaned by doing a normal cleaning so he had to get the brush out and do a scrub on it. The steam cleaner wouldn’t have cleaned it properly. He did a fine job on it and it the carpet cleaning. I wouldn’t use him again because he is far out of town."
