Get matched with top deck pros in Philadelphia, PA

"I am very pleased with refurbished deck. The pergola was pressure washed and stained. The deck was demoed to the framing and rotted joists replaced. All of the deck boards were replaced and meticulously cut around the pool. The worksite was cleaned up every night. Very pleased."

"Fabiano was a pleasure to work with. He was punctual when showing up to provide an estimate and to the project itself. He gave me accurate time lines and updates in real time when fixing my deck. After comparing 4 other contractors to replace my deck, Fabiano gave the best quote with no surprises and the estimate was spot on! I would absolutely recommend Fabiano for your next project"

"Went with Manfredia's again! Ran into a problem with the garage roof an a major leak but Manfreida's came through with flying colors. After I put in my call the owner was out to do the estimate for me the same week an even did a little extra by taking down some mushrooms ( ewwww) that had been lurking where the leak had been particularly bad. In order to save my otherwise perfectly good, very full, garage they were even able to fit me into the schedule the following week to get the roof ripped off, re-decked and water tight before an upcoming storm. What a life saver! The crew that came out was very nice and worked swiftly, over all the job took less then three days to complete. They even replaced a small part on the back of the roof that had rotted and replaced all the trim sections with pvc so the carpenter bees wont be be making any more holes! Everything came out wonderfully I enjoy seeing it every time I pull into the driveway. I love working with Manfredia's and will DEFIANTLY be calling again for my next project. Thanks!!"

"Chris was very professional in providing both a competitive estimate and realistic timeline for starting and completing the work. He is a very skilled craftsmen/carpenter and takes extreme pride in his work. He is highly in demand and therefore patience is required to accommodate schedule lead-times. Well worth the wait since the composite deck/railing replacement is of very high quality and we are very pleased with the end result."

"They are expensive, but will work with you. Very professional and reliable. The deck was done in one day. I would hire them again ."

"This was not new construction to correct an initial deck design flaw.. and it was not a simple job. Some contractors would have tried to over-complicate the nature of the work to inflate their fees.Scott was honest and straightforward. Scott was: On time. On budget. With excellent craftsmanship. Pleasant to work with. I give Scott Monath the highest possible rating is all areas. I have no doubts of Scott's ability to any type of construction: Decks, Carpentry,(rough or finish), remodels(interior or exterior), baths, kitchens etc. I would hire Scott again. Best contractor I ever had do work for me."

"Jerry is a friendly and knowledgeable guy - he was able to change some lightbulbs in a fixture that was precariously placed in our stairway, and he hung two wooden floating shelves on difficult lath and plaster walls. He made sure the shelves were very strongly supported with toggle bolts, since there was only one stud to work with. I’d hire Jerry again for future work on the house."

"The construction of the deck went smoothly, and my family and I are extremely pleased with the completed product. We would gladly do business again with this company."

"I have been working with Family and Friends for years. The first job was a custom deck on a condo I purchased 10 years ago. This required removing a window, redoing a roof and adding a deck. I was a single girl with her first place, and next to the condo, this was the most money I had ever spent. As a child my parents almost sued a contractor over faulty work, and I was VERY nervous. Let's just say that is where the nerves started and ended. The work was great, and the process painless. The next year I hired them to do a custom kitchen in my condo as well as some improvements to the building (hired by the association). A few years later my husband and I bought a house. Over the years Family and friends redid a custom tile shower (installed incorrectly by the builders), laid a stamped concrete patio, stuccoed our exterior, and most recently finished our basement. Billy, Liz, and Shannon are great to work with. The work is always done well and guaranteed. The jobs also come in on budget unless there was something I added, or an unforeseen issue. Honestly, I never get other estimates. The only minor issue is, that they are so great, that it can be hard to get in, and there may be a bit of a wait. That being said I will wait every time. I do not mind waiting for quality work and people I can trust. If you hire family and friend you will not be disappointed."

"We hired Dave and his team to build a deck in our backyard and it was a truly great experience. Dave was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions during the estimate process, and then was reliable and communicative during the building. We always knew what step was next and the expected timing, so we never felt out of the loop. On top of the great professionalism, the work completed was excellent and immediately felt worth the time and money we spent. We will definitely be reaching out to Dave for our next project and many more in the future. If you are looking for a skilled contractor who is professional, knowledgeable and has a wide range of skills, Dave and his team are your best bet."
