Get matched with top deck pros in Washington, DC

"Our deck was showing its age, but we weren't ready to fully replace it. Mike did a great job refinishing it. He also replaced a badly warped top rail on all three sides of the deck, as well as the old lattice surround that had largely rotted and fallen away. Very fair and honest - we would definitely hire again."

"It went ok. Workers were professional and pleasant when performing work. Not always on time as scheduled. Deck maintenance was high quality. Other exterior work appears to be good. Exterior pressuring washing was well done. Expensive."

"I couldn't be more pleased with the deck repair that Jose and Melvin of JW Home Improvement performed for us. The attention to detail, beautiful joints, use of screws instead of nails, and the particular attention appearance and completeness. The site was left spotless. A special thanks for your dedication to working in such cold weather. Thanks."

"Balteza Property Services did an amazing job pressure washing and staining our deck. They were punctual and professional, and helped us choose a proper stain. (Some businesses use Home Depot supplies and charge you $$$$ but Balteza Property Services was reasonable AND they special ordered a top quality stain.) We have had our deck stained before, but it looked nothing like it looks now. They are the best. Period."

"We hired Edward and his team to repair our deck, essentially removing the old wood boards and replacing them with Trex composite. He was very accommodating with our schedule and returned all phone calls promptly. The team worked efficiently and the deck looks beautiful. It was a pleasure working with Edward and his team."

"We've hired several home-improvement contractors recently and Gus & Sons has been the best! I needed most of my deck removed, and the stairs rebuilt. I wanted somebody who was willing to re-use the existing materials as much as possible. Other contractors refused because it was too much effort, finding it easier to buy all-new materials and start from scratch. But Gus & Sons sent a very efficient surveyor for a quote, who was very knowledgeable and professional and took all the measurements, and immediately impressed me. They began work shortly after (in the hot summer heat!) and quickly and efficiently dismantled the old deck and carefully rebuilt parts of it. They even got a piece of white cladding for the house when a piece of the underside was exposed by the removed deck. 10/10 job, I couldn't be happier."
