"I would definitely hire True North again. At the beginning of July 2022, we returned home from vacation to find more than half of our home destroyed by a water disaster. The valve on our top-floor master toilet blew off, spewing 3,200 gallons of water into our home each day for 11 days. The damage was extensive, requiring several $100,000 in repairs, and forcing us to be relocated for 7 months. After we contacted our Insurance Company, True North showed up that evening and was with us throughout the entire mitigation and rebuild process. True North's speciality is disaster mitigation. They are true experts in this area. I truly do not know how we could have survived the first few months without them. Not only did they have all the equipment and know-how to QUICKLY start cleaning up all the of carnage, they were also extremely compassionate about our situation and pretty much took on the role of disaster counselors. After the 2-3 month clean-up period was over, the rebuild phase began. We had the option of continuing to work with True North or hire an independent contractor. By this time we felt so fortunate and comfortable working with True North, we did not even consider hiring anyone else. Honestly, the rebuild part of the job proved to be the most stressful. Not everything comes back together as you expect. ALL of the True North employees took great pride in their work and did a very nice job. In addition, the owner and building manager were always available whenever we needed to contact them. I have never worked with a company that is so reliable and easy to work with. However, some of the sub-contractors they hired, such as the plumbing company and wood floor installers, were terrible. When this occured, True North ALWAYS supported us and went to bat for us to try to get the work done correctly. Because of their experience with our extensive job, True North has now identified very good subcontractors for ALL phases of the project. Anyone hiring True North from this point forward will get the benefit of this valuable experience. For all of these reasons, I highly recommend True North for ANY disaster big or small."
