"Justin and his crew have been amazing to work with every step of the way. 0ur roof was damaged in a storm last summer and we put it off until this year to have it looked at. Justin was extremely responsive and timely in coming to look at it, met with the insurance agent on extremely short notice, and was highly knowledgeable in helping us to understand the insurance process. He and his project manager, Darrin, were always available to answer questions and help us with samples and decisions. While they helped us understand every step, we never felt pushed or talked down to. The communication both ways was always very quick and polite. The entire team that worked on our property was obviously very skilled and took pride in their work. They took extra steps and time to make sure that gardens and landscaping surrounding the house was carefully protected during the tear-off process. That being said, they did work very quickly! At the end of each day, they carefully cleaned up the work area. "Thanks to a bad pipe in an upstairs bathroom , our house sustained 18 hours worth of water damage on three floors. If you've never had such a problem in your house, consider yourself blessed. "It went fine, and they do their work quickly and efficiently.  From what I can tell, they are a reputable contractor who will hold up their end of the bargain.  I would work with them again.  That being said, I've relayed to them that there were a couple of things they could do on future jobs to improve their service:
1) Let the homeowner know when they are there and begin working.  They showed up and got right to work without ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door.  They also did not let us know when they were done, so we didn't know when it would be okay to lock up.
2) It would have been nice if they put up some plastic sheeting to contain dust when cutting into the foundation. Although they didn't create a ton of dust, that stuff is so incredibly fine that it's miserable to clean up. Had I known they weren't planning to hang up some plastic I would have strung it up myself to avoid that headache.
The city inspector came by to close out the permit and noted that they forgot to caulk along the exterior of the window and more foam should be used in the remaining block cavities. These really aren't tough for me to finish up, but they should have a checklist to run through before they leave the work site.
