"Service Master in Greencastle provides excellent service. This is the 3rd time I’ve hired them and am never disappointed. They arrive on time, professional, and do excellent work. I hired them to clean outdoor cushions on a patio set . The cushions were good quality but very dirty from previous owners. Service Master cleaned them good as new ! Very happy with this business."

"A&D stepped in to take on this project when we had to 'fire' the original contractor for a variety of reasons (long story). A&D did the demolition of the old cabinets and coordinated the electrical and plumbing updates, painting, backsplash installation and detail work such as installing a new pantry door. We were installing IKEA cabinets and used a company that does this work for IKEA around the country and the same for countertop fabrication and installation. We had used A&D for water mitigation problems previously and found the company to be reliable, responsive in an emergency, professional, friendly and easy to work with. This was consistently true with the kitchen renovation where there was added complexity with the number of service providers involved. We are starting our next project with A&D in early January with a master bath reno, laundry/utility room repair and installation of new hardwood floors - all being done due to a water leak that A&D handled. A&D has already been involved with this project, providing guidance through the insurance claim process which, through no fault of A&D's, was very frustrating and took months. It's really a relief to have a service provider you can trust."

"Tyler Hartman, the manager, really knows his business. We needed drywall repair, caulking and painting...it was wonderful that ONE company could provide ALL services at a reasonable price. Catalino and Jose were both awesome to work with. They are both very meticulous! Also, VERY HARD workers. Arrived between 8 and 8:30 every morning and worked until 7:00 pm. I suspect they took lunch, but I NEVER saw them take a break!! I would HIGHLY recommend this fantastic company!!"

"I accepted the proposal for the service call on 9/19/08, but not for the French drain installation, due to price. The service call quote was $179, the French drain installation quote was $3895, and the company estimated 6 weeks to perform work at the 8/29 visit. The company called 11/10/08 to see if the service work could be performed that day. No one could be here that day, so we had to decline it. There has been no further contact from the company. 10/30/08 the French drain was installed by another contractor for < 1/3 the Americrawl estimate. When we used Americrawl before, we reported to them, after the work was completed, that their workers had forgotten to return an extension cord they'd borrowed. We got no response."

"They came in to inspect our firplace and chimney the summer of 2012, and they were honest with us. The person who came out let us know that our system was in great condition, and did not need any service. He could of easliy over sold us on unnecessary products and services. "Upon uncovering a leak during a rain, I emailed Maximus Contracting through Angie's List. They were my 3rd email sent but the previous 2 had other things going on and couldn't accommodate the 1-2 day appointment I needed to prevent further leak damage. Eric (Owner) was very responsive and responded to my email quickly. Upon return call, he said he could have someone there that day. Leo arrived and immediately assessed the situation and explained the required repairs to me. Upon his call to Eric and then Eric's call to me to discuss the repair cost, I was very satisfied with the agreed-to price. Eric even had Leo caulk the vent above the garage with no increase in cost. Leo left to get materials and returned in about 20 minutes. The actual repairs took him about 1.5 hours and after cleaning up, he was there for about 3 hours. The weather looked like rain and it did rain that evening and the next day, so I am grateful to Eric for answering my email and acting promptly. I will go back to Maximus General Contracting for any future home repairs.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
