"Gave advice and helped me problem solve over the phone. Very honest - in the end he said I just needed a new microwave and not electrical work. Offered to come do microwave install if I needed help. Gave free advice - I wanted to compensate him for his time and advice, but he just suggested I leave a good review - which I was very happy to do! Very friendly and saved me money!"

"They did a neat, professional job of installing a new breaker box and upgrading our old electrical service."

"They did a good job in a timely fashion. There are a few loose screws. Other than that. The quality is good."

"This is a truly great company. They provide great customer service and spend time explaining the details and answering questions. My husband obsessed about every single detail and could not deny that it was a no brainer. Our first electric bill since installing the panels was a CREDIT! I was not expecting that. "Exceed did great work replacing out main electrical panel"

"Does a very professional clean job. Very knowledgable. Did a great job of cleaning up a messy electrical situation from the previous owner who apparently did a lot of his own wiring and had done dangerous and very non-code compliant work."

"Nick was very busy and had a lot of work lined up in the western suburbs, a long way from where I live. He squeezed in some time to check out my problem, as he knew I may need to plug in a heating cable above one of my gutters. On the phone he talked me through various steps I could do myself to fix the problem, but I had already tried them with no success.
When Nick arrived he did a few tests and deduced that the two-year-old GFI that protects the circuit had failed. He went outside when it was about 2 degrees below zero and fixed the problem. By the way, he was the one that installed the circuit in the first place.
I asked Nick how much I owed him and he said NO CHARGE! The GFI that failed was almost new and obviously was a defective part from the factory. It wasn't his fault that it didn't last very long and I was quite willing to pay and happy that he had to take time out of his schedule and go a long ways to fix it. He said he felt bad about the part that didn't last very long and wouldn't take any money from me.
Not only is Nick an honest and upright citizen, he is pleasant to work with and funny, too.
