"10 minutes after I hit the send button to set up an appointment, Jim from Clean Cut Roofing called me and we made an appointment for the same day. Clean Cut and Jim delivered on every point they promised me. The wind damage to my roof, the insurance claim, and the replacement of my roof by Clean Cut all occurred during the holiday season of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year...and still Clean Cut Roofing delivered a brand new roof. The crew was very professional, (and they WERE clean cut guys), very polite, never made a mess in my yard, were mindful of our needs to get in and out of our driveway and garage (with holiday visitors and guests coming and going) and the quality and swiftness of their work was fantastic. The same day the job was complete, Clean Cut provided all the documents I needed for my insurance company. I highly recommend Clean Cut Roofing to anyone. BTW, I am a licensed commercial and residential building contractor with 38 years experience in all phases of construction...believe me, these guys are pros...these guys are the ones you want to roof your house."

Lightning Protection
"I am a professional landscape architect, and when it came time to re-do our driveway and to choose from the bids we had received, I chose East Tex Asphalt. We had a large existing asphalt driveway that was to have portions removed in order to reshape and reduce the asphalt, and it also had areas in need of regrading, repair and resealing. He and his crew started exactly when they said they would, were careful and precise in their work, and did a great job. They used high quality wood header, and were very neat in their finish work - we were very pleased. I have since recommended them to some of my own clients; they did a beautiful job on a new paver driveway for one of them recently. He is very polite and easy to work with, his prices are fair, and I highly recommend this company."

"They worked very neatly, were extremely respectful of my property, their prices were amazing, and Henry and Peter were patient to explain how everything worked and the process of installation. I would highly recommend them to install lightning rods and a whole house surge protector."

"Tim gave us an honest evaluation of our existing water heater and options for repair or replacement. We decided to replace the water heater and Tri-State scheduled the next day. Installation was professional and l think Tim is the kind of craftsman you want representing your organization. The fact that you install the Rheem brand helped close the deal."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesLongview Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 151 reviews of 151 pros.
