"I hired Josh to put in a 240 volt outlet in my garage for a used kiln I recently acquired. He asked all the right questions about the job and even went the extra mile to make sure my kiln’s electrical cord was in good condition. He was attentive to detail and did the job in under 1 1/2 hours. Highly recommend!"

"Advanced Wireless did the job efficiently and professionally in an amazingly timely manner. I called them, and they were on another job, but said they would come out later that same day. However, within the hour, they called back, saying that they were waiting on the electrician to show up at their job site which was not far from my home. They asked if they could come at that time, and of course, I was very happy to have them come earlier. They came and completed the job within 1/2 hour. No traces of drilling "dust" or any other residue. The job was less than what another company had quoted me. That company's earliest opening was in 3 weeks! The electrician who was working at my house said Advanced Wireless technicians were able to work without getting into his way at all, and that he felt they did such a good job, he asked for their business card as well! I would recommend this company to everyone who needs cable TV wiring, data wiring, or telephone wiring installed. Neat, efficient, professional. Excellent all around!"

"John did an excellent job. He installed 2 fans, ran wiring for ethernet in 2 locations, and installed a powered media closet for the ethernet. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He communicated everything that was happening and worked with us to make sure things turned out exactly as we wanted. One of the most interesting persons you will ever meet in the treasure valley and I would highly recommend highering him for any and all of your electrical needs."

"Near impossible to get ahold of them, I understand being business, but then there is blatant ignoring. Even after planning another job. I cant access my Internet cable as its now stuck under a outside wire tube. Needing to call my Internet provider to get it moved."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesNampa Electricians are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 105 reviews of 105 pros.
