"I LOVE MY NEW LIGHTS AND MY MOTION LIGHT SWITCH! I had Bryce from Ben Franklin Electric add lights in two of my bedrooms. The lights changed the whole room and made it so much better. He installed a remote light switch that turns lights on and off remotely. I use it everyday. Now when I go to bed at night I can read and when I am ready to go to sleep I don't have to get out of bed to turn off my lights. It is wonderful! He put in a track light that he put on a timer so that I have light on my picture right when I want it. He put in a 3 way light switch in my basement . I didn't want to have sheetrock cut so he put in a wireless switch that works prefect. I also had him put in a motion sensor light switch in my garage so when I walk in my garage the light turns on automatically. Bryce knows about all the latest new things that make life more convenient. I would recommend Ben Franklin Electric to anyone wanting electrical work. You won't be disappointed."

Electrical
"Ryan with RyCo Electric was such a humble and knowledgeable guy. I needed an outlet installed outdoors good enough for a hot tub. He knew exactly what to do, had the best price, and didn't try to sell me on a dozen other things I didn't need. They were able to fit our project in their schedule quick and treated me (and my dog!) with kindness and respect when they came. They explained every step of the way and noticed some dangerous scorching on my previous equipment. I really liked that they kept me informed about their process and the equipment they installed and the timeline. I've already got a few more projects lined up with RyCo Electric because I was so impressed with their business practices and the price couldn't be beat!"

"Matt was wonderful. He was on time. He was efficient and hard working, which is not the same thing. the job was messy but he made sure everything was cleaned up as he went along. He put in 8 new can lights in my kitchen and living room, Installed a fan in the garage, hung a TV on a bedroom wall and fixed several faulty light switches. I would hire him again if the need came up. and would definitely recommend him and HomWize to my family and friends."

Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade, Electrical Switches, Outlets & Fixtures - Install or Repair
"I returned from a week long trip to find that my garage freezer had stopped working and the food was all thawed out. The Christmas lights on the house also were not working. We checked the breaker box and troubleshooted he best we could, but the outlet kept tripping. I looked online, and decided that the appliance was probably just broken. When I called David's Electric, he walked me through the problem over the phone, had me unplug everything, and finally discovered that the problem was the Christmas lights! He explained how if any water at all gets in to a part of the electrical wiring that the outlet will continue to trip. We discovered soon afterwards that the water was in the extension cord we used for the Christmas lights, replaced it, and now they are working too! We didn't need to buy a new freezer, learned how to diagnose such a problem in the future, and got the problem fixed for free! So I didn't witness the technician's own work in person, but next time I need electrical help, I will call David's for sure."

"J replaced fluorescent lights in the basement with can lights. He also added extra light to several dimly-lit rooms. He also replaced breakers and smoke detectors - so we're up to code! Very pleased with the outcome. He called ahead of time, came for three days straight and didn't leave until we were satisfied with the work."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesProvo Electricians are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 819 reviews of 819 pros.
