"I typically don’t write reviews but, I’m compelled to write about Victor and his business. He’s so incredibly talented, professional and honest. We live in an older house in Tenafly. It needed A LOT of electrical work, both inside and outside the house. All the lights outside of the house including flood lights and the decorative lights (he actually went and selected the fixtures – it was perfect for the house) needed to be fixed or replaced. He replaced multiple timers and showed us how to work them. In the past, we had asked more than one electrician from large, well-established firms to take a look at them and they couldn’t resolve the problem. The vanity lights in the bathroom wasn’t working – I had purchased another one assuming it had to be replaced but he figured it out and saved us money. There were numerous fixtures and lights that weren’t working and he fixed them ALL! Thank you Victor!!! Exceeded all expectations,"

"I recently had MDL Electric install a 14 kw Generac automatic standby generator for my home. I chose MDL after talking with three other companies. MDL did the entire job professionally. They obtained all of the permits from Parsippany Town Hall, did the installation in a professional manner, and arranged for all of the final inspections. They installed the gas lines needed along with all electrical work. The other companies wanted me to find my own gas line installer and get all permits. The job was especially difficult since the gas and electrical box was on the opposite sides of the house. Two of the other companies had no idea where to put the generator-one had me tearing up the driveway. I would recommend MDL for electrical work anytime ( they did some other work in addition to the generator)."

"The electrician did a great job installing my ceiling lamp. The original lamp that came with my condo had to be removed, and it had been hung too close to the wall, so it was "off center". The electrician made a new hole in the ceiling after carefully figuring out how far to move it over. He also patched the previous hole in the ceiling. Then he hung up my stained glass lamp. "We hired Ken of North Crest LLC to upgrade our electrical panel and install a new outlet. In the process, he discovered that we still had some dangerous old knob-and-tube wiring. So he checked and replaced multiple outlets, rewired a ceiling fan, and installed 2 replacement light fixtures. Thank you so much, Ken, for making our old house safer! We plan to hire Ken again to upgrade our kitchen and bathroom. Would gladly recommend him to anyone!"

"Junior, Elvis and Renee worked tirelessly over a day and a half to run Ethernet, hdmi and optical cables through my garage and up into my attic, ceiling mount one television in my living room and wall mount a second television in my bedroom along with installing a closet light. These guys know their stuff, do not up charge and are courteous, polite and pleasurable to be around. I whole heartedly recommend them for a theatre job and their prices are fair as well. "Brian was extremely professional. He called ahead, and arrived on time for the scheduled estimate walk-thru. He took notes for each of the different fixtures I wanted added in each location, and reviewed them with me at the end of the meeting. He got back to me in less than a week with a fair estimate for the complete job. We hired him for the work, and he scheduled the appointment within two weeks of the initial meeting. He arrived on time the day of the appointment, and had all the equipment and tools needed for the job. My job site needed a little bit of everything, exterior flood lights on the soffits, a new circuit for the bedroom AC, and a new install of a hanging pendant chandelier. Brian and his assistant did all the work in less than 6 hours and were true to their original estimate with no surprises or overages. Brian did a walk-thru with me at the end of the job, and the quality of the work was flawless. I had spoken with two other contractors for the same work and they were unresponsive and difficult to coordinate with. I gave Brian 5 stars across the board because there were no shenanigans, he was prompt, accessible and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Brian and his company for any electrical work in the future."

"Greg the owner of Papa Grieves is an amazing, incredibly honest and dependable pool expert. He came to my house on Friday to repair my propane heater. The heater needed 2 parts and Greg only had 1 of the required parts on his truck. He called me, explained what needed to be done and that he would come back on Saturday to finish the job. Greg said that although the heater had a great deal of rust, he could fix it so that it would work for the remainder of the season. He did NOT try to see me a new heater, but I asked him what a new heater would cost. The price he quoted me was 20% less than what my current pool company, that did not return my call about my heater not working gave me at the beginning of the season. I asked him if he could install the new heater on Saturday, because I was having a big party on Sunday and he said the heater was in stock and that he could do the job the next day. Saturday morning the rain was coming down in buckets and I did not expect Greg to show up. But to my shock and amazement, at 10 AM the Papa Grieves Pool truck pulled into my driveway. In the pouring rain Greg and his assistant Raul removed the old heater and installed the new one. They performed all of this work without asking for a deposit or credit card for security. The heater works great. PARTY SAVED!!!!! That you Papa Grieves!!!!!"
