"Aaron is an excellent electrician, he really listened and helped me place lighting on my property where it was needed. He also repaired a light fixture in a creative way. It was very exciting to see what was once a dark pathway lit up a beautiful way. He is respectful, on time and very pleasant to have around. I feel very lucky to have found Aaron and could not recommend him more highly for all things electrical."

"I was extremely satisfied and impressed with the service all around from this company from beginning to end. I was a little hesitant about hiring an electrician that I had not worked with before but he did not let me down. He was prompt, efficient, experienced, and fair. I had several projects that needed to be completed, including light fixture install, rewiring, redirecting incorrect electrical wiring, installing additional switches, and outlets as well as correcting wiring to the circuit breaker. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and professionalism of completing a long list of items. I still have an entire list of things that need to be completed and I have already decided that I will definitely be calling him for all electrical work in my home. What an awesome company. If you want it done correctly and for fair pricing, you will not go wrong hiring this company. Great experience from start to finish."

"After another electrician blew me off for nearly a week with excuses, then informed me that he couldn't make it over for nearly another week. I found Mikhail online, through Homeadvisor, com, and was very grateful when he offered to come right over to troubleshoot the problem and fix it despite it being around 8:30 at night. I had lost all power to the 2nd floor of my house after a space heater I'd bought had been plugged in for an hour or so. The 2nd floor is where the bedrooms, master bathroom, and office is, as well as where I keep one of my cockatiels, so, it was very inconvenient to not have any power at all for those rooms. Although I can do basic electrical work, like installing outlets, light fixtures, and so on, this was beyond my level of ability to troubleshoot and fix. Mikhail arrived very quickly, and after a short time investigating, found a problem with the wiring within the breaker box, which had caused one of the wires to overheat and actually melt. He was able to strip and reattach what remained of that wire, which restored the power to the 2nd floor again. During the course of trying to troubleshoot the problem myself, I had noticed that one of the 15 amp breakers was actually feeding two lines, which should never be done, and which I certainly wasn't comfortable with. I was planning on converting a 240v outlet on the first floor to 120v which would allow me to put one of those lines on a dedicated 15 amp circuit of it's own. I had already bought the breakers to take care of that, so I thought I'd just ask Mikhail if he would do the conversion for me while he was here, which he did. So, that resolved a 2nd problem that I had, which would help make any troubleshooting easier in the future, as well as relieving another safety issue. Additionally, during my investigation about the breakers and wiring in my house, I discovered that the company that made my breakers and panel (Federal Pacific Electric) is no longer in business, being sued for failures of their products and the damage caused by them. Houses are not even allowed to be sold with electrical panels by this company anymore, and are required to have them converted to a different manufacturers panel for safety reasons. I asked if Mikhail could do the job, and what it might cost, and was given a very reasonable quote. So, I not only got the immediate problem fixed promptly (the same evening I contacted him), but I got the outlet I had wanted converted switched over, and got a price quote to replace the electrical panel that until only days ago I had no idea was even a problem at all. Mikhail was prompt, friendly, and professional; very easy to talk to and work with; and the entire job from start to finish (including the additional outlet conversion) only took about an hour total. The job was very reasonably priced as well. I would certainly recommend Mikhail to anyone needing to get any kind of electrical work done, as I don't think you will find anyone with better quality work, or who will do the job for a more reasonable rate."

"I filled out the request for quote on home advisor in the morning and heard back within minutes. Then within the hour The owner came by to review my needs- repairs of fixtures, and installations of 5 new lights, including a 20 ft high hanging lamp. He quoted me a reasonable price and contacted one of his licensed electricians who came and completed the job. It was a pleasure to have such professional service, and the quick response was very appreciated!"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesSpringfield Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 382 reviews of 382 pros.
