"My appointment was Friday after Thanksgiving. The worker for my job called and and to keep from disappointing a customer the owner came himself. That was good customer service. I felt special. I felt he heard me when we discussed my need to get the work done. Add to that staying until all work was done, even when finding out I miss counted the number of outlets and a switch/outlet combo I needed installed. I have trust and confidence in this company because the owner cares about the job he does and the impression he gives you."

"I took several quotes for installing a Tesla 60amp EV charger in a detached garage in a rental house. Interconnect Electric quote and its owner's James knowledge impressed me the most and we decided to go with them. They did a superb job using the most efficient and straightforward way to install such chargers and also took care of the several electrical issues in the existing wiring and subpanels., in a very timely and professional manner. Will definitely recommend them for all such needs."

"I just built my house a year ago and needed to add an EV charger to my garage. Trish called me within an hour and set up an appointment for Hugo to come out the next day. There were two additional parts to the job I needed done as well, and one of them was a bit more expensive than I was expecting... but honestly, I had no idea how much to expect for the third part of the job so I can't blame them at all. There was no pressure at all to complete the more expensive portion of the job when I told them I'd have to pass on it at the time. The actual job was scheduled for the following week, and Tommy and Kevin showed up on time and were done in less than 3 hours. They gave me a few recommendations for drywall repair as well since there were three small holes that needed cut to run the new circuit for the EV charger. Highly recommended... Hugo & Kevin were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all questions from a new homeowner like myself."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesSykesville Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 331 reviews of 331 pros.
