"Wire Works is excellent! I left a panic-sounding voicemail after hours when I smelled an electrical-type burning scent near my fuse box. Laura from the office called within minutes of opening and scheduled Tom to come out that afternoon. Tom was wonderful! He quickly assessed the scent, thoroughly inspected the fuse box and wiring in attic and assured me the electrical was safe. While the scent dissipated the next day, I was able to sleep soundly that night knowing my family and home are safe. Thanks Wire Works!"

"We were very pleased with the quality and service we received. We hired Kevin to wire our new construction house project in 2018. We later had him back to install a 12KW solar panel system and an EV charging station in 2021. I highly recommend Kwaske Electric."

"I hired Derek and his colleague to wire up our new hot tub. He was excellent at communicating and providing an estimate before work was started. The quality of work he provided exceeded my expectations. Everything was done neatly, to code, and did not leave a mess at my house. A sprinkler line was damaged during trenching, since we didn't know it was there, and he made the repairs with no questions asked. I would definitely hire him or recommend for electrical work. "Doug is a master electrician and has completed not only a panel upgrade for us but several other electrical projects. He’s knowledgeable, reliable, and easy to work with. What really stands out is that he genuinely cares about the quality and appearance of the finished product—not just getting the job done, but making sure it looks great too. Highly recommend and will continue to call True Line electric for my electrical needs."

"Mike was extremely polite, professional & informative. Despite the fact that he had to leave abruptly from Battle Creek, in order to secure another assignment in Holland. I look forward to having Mike perform any future electrical projects when heâ s available to do so."

"From our initial communications I was impressed with Charles' interest in my project. He was quick to respond to review the work to be done and follow up during the quoting process. Upon review of my electrical panel service upgrade (100 amp to 200 amp), and other miscellaneous wiring tasks, he explained how he envisioned the layout and advised of the brand of electrical panel that he would quote for the project. He pulled the permit and coordinated with the local electrical inspector and Consumers Energy to schedule the project. During the installation process, Charles was courteous, professional, and pleasure to work with. I am very pleased with all the work done by Homestead! Are you tired of talking to salesmen/contractors that promise something that their employees/subcontractors are not aware to deliver? Are you looking for good value and quality workmanship? Call Homestead Enterprises for your electrical needs."

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.
Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.
DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
