"Oncor Electric cut my power when a tree removal service damaged the meter box. The time was 5:15PM and the heat index over 100-degrees. 24-7 Electrical Service were the first to respond to my inquiries and had a technician available. Further responses by others offered no one on call. Anthony was here within the hour, made an assessment, gave me a quote and, despite the developing storm system, agreed to proceed with purchasing the needed materials and, if the storm had passed, work into the evening. The job included replacing the meter box, installing a riser, and installing a grounding system. With the assistance of Mike, another 24-7 technician, the two of them worked diligently and I had power before midnight. Anthony and Mike were both friendly and professional, answered my many questions, and provided additional information. I was very upset about the situation and stressed about having to find a hotel for me and my dog. Their calm, "we've got this" attitude went a long way to comforting me and feeling like I was in good hands. I highly recommend 24-7 Electrical Services."

"About a year ago (March 2017) contracted with Mister Sparky to perform electrical evaluation of my home, as was about to engage in significant upgrading to interior, and initially needed to know how many amps I could use for a new convection cooktop. And, there were a few other issues that had been on my list of things to have done that I wanted to have addressed. The lead electrician, Nina Cleverly (seen her in television ads for this company since then), not only evaluated that need, but did a complete safety evaluation of my 38-year old home. Needless to say, there were many issues that were out of compliance with codes. Nina evaluated all recommended work and presented a proposal. Decided to accept and they got the work all done that very same day! Two electricians came out to perform the work (Sean Simmons and Carnell Lambert), and they did a fabulous job on the large range of items to be addressed, including: whole house surge protector, breaker box replacement and rewiring, replace one ceiling recessed fixture, remove/replace shower light, GFCI outlets wherever needed, fire detection system, install new outdoor motion detection lights, replace one outdoor fixture, new outdoor electrical boxes, etc. They did a fantastic job on all these issues and completed in just one day. I know that my home is in excellent shape with respect to electrical issues. The electricians were all very personable and communicated well. It was a pleasure to do business with this company, and highly recommend them for anyone needing any kind of electrician required work."

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.
Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.
DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
