So Rich spent a lot of time troubleshooting it, checking various other outlets in the bedrooms next to it, in the other upstairs bathroom, etc until he found the source of the issue, a wire worked itself loose in the electrical outlet in the powder room on the first floor - and this disrupted the power going to the outlet in the master bath. Rich also added an additional outlet we wanted in the master bathroom and replaced the security light outside with a fixture I had purchased for him to install.
