"On time, professional but super friendly staff. Replaced a ceiling fan with a light and added a light over our kitchen sink. Answered all our questions including others that didn't pertain to the current projects. Never made us feel like he was on a time frame, found out we have to replace our breaker box which we are doing next week with Mr. Electric. Was given a $50 off coupon through this website by Mr. Electric that was awesome. Will use them from now on with other projects. "I was very anxious to resolve this problem, especially as it was on a Saturday, but Derek Potter of Star Electric answered my call quickly and was able to arrive even earlier than promised.  He quickly and efficiently discovered what the issue was with the electricity, after initially checking the fuse box to ensure all was in order there.  After I told him I had been cleaning the ceiling light/fan in the master suite, Derek disassembled that system and found a wiring issue, which he quickly corrected.  Apparently when the ceiling light/fan was installed some years ago, it was not done properly and the wiring was such that it could have started an electrical fire at some point.  So I was grateful that Derek had found the issue which could have been a safety concern.  He was very professional and informative in explaining everything to me, and also showed me some additional pointers about the fuse box and my electric systems.
