"I couldn't be happier. From Mike the estimator, who first tried to locate the problem wiring but the wiring was about 60 to 70 years old. We knew it needed to be replaced. Mike was there about 2 to 3 hours and didn't charge us for that time. Our electricians, Kris and Adam were wonderful. Since I would have all ceiling boxes installed I was told I could have one in every room if I wanted. I had ceiling fans put up in the kitchen, dining room, living room and my daughters bedroom. All rooms but the other bedroom as no one stays in that room and I already had the light fixture. She got motion sensor closets that not only go on when the closet is opened, they are quite bright for her to see her clothes, which was a big problem for her in the past. The back hallway has always been an issue changing lightbulbs as it is a really high ceiling and very hard to change bulbs. They put in recessed lighting with LED lightbulbs that they say will last 50 years. They also put one of these recessed lighting in the kitchen in leu of the tulip light fixture that she had. They even fixed the outside lighting so when our dog goes out at night we can actually put a light on for him. (He is a black lab, very hard to see in the dark.) The whole job was completed in 4 days and they cleaned up great. I am very impressed and will definitely use them again."

"They are now known as Mr. Electric and Jesse the one in the other reviews was great. We first had to get the coroners report on the existing fixture (indeed, it was dead) I shared some things I had found on line, Jesse found something very similar on line and in stock at a local big box store. In short I got a wonderful fixture, installed with a dimmer and some needed education in LED vs fluorescent. All this in one visit, just a few hours. Jesse was great because i only knew one thing, I had a dark Kitchen and while i wouldn't assighn Genesis quotes to just anyone, Let there be LIOHT."

"When Sparky's came here, they (and we) believed that the reason our elderly attic fan was turning on and off constantly was due to a faulty thermostat. They replaced the thermostat; but once the attic heated up, the fan still turned on and off in the same way. I called Sparky's , and they came right back. Jeff (aka Sparky) noticed that the fan motor was very hot and determined that it needed to be replaced. He got the same heavy-duty motor as the original equipment and replaced it in the fan the next day. Now it works like a dream, and we're happy with Sparky's service."

"Watry put in a new roof in 2010. During a recent heavy rain storm, water came through the kitchen ceiling fan. I emailed Scott and received an email reply the same day. The roof was checked within a few days. The problem was a build up of maple seeds around the roof vent. Watry removed the debris for no charge.

"Rita at Golden Maid was wonderful to work with.  I needed help cleaning my home in preparation for my daughter's wedding that next weekend.  I wanted to take advantage of their Big Deal, but wanted to make sure they could do it in my time frame.  Rita assured me they could come out that Wednesday morning, so I bought the deal. 
On Wednesday, 4 young women arrived, armed with their supplies and ready to work.  Very high energy!!  I stayed out of their way by cutting the grass!  Rita also arrived to go over details of what was to be cleaned.  Before I knew it, they had finished all the areas to be cleaned:  bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, family room, bath and a half, basement stairs, floors.  They cleaned glass cabinet doors, windows, outside door, fans.  All the chrome was shinier than ever, and my kitchen sink hasn't looked this good since it was new!!  They worked carefully and provided high attention to detail.  I have to admit, my curiosity got the better of me and I did a finger check for dust around the house, and they passed every check!!!
Before selecting Golden Maid, I read the reviews, and I think some people are misunderstanding the 6 hours of cleaning.  We had four young women here for an hour and a half.  That adds up to 6 "woman" hours of cleaning.  Or it could be 2 people for 3 hours, or 3 people for 2 hours.  It does not mean whoever shows up will be there for 6 hours, unless of course, it's only one person.
I am so pleased with the results!!  I would absolutey call Rita again if I need help in the future!
