"Denzel came over when he said he would and did exactly what I needed. In my case, he cut a hole in my roof and installed a vent and connectors to my bathroom exhaust fans. Denzel communicates well, is personable and easy to do business with. I highly recommend McGhee's Mechanical."

"Mike did a great job in venting my bathroom fan. I really appreciated how instead of charging me hundreds of dollars to cut a hole in my roof like others had, he instead routed it out of an existing fan vent that worked just as well. It's great to have someone honest and willing to just do what's needed."

"Excellent! Thorough, thoughtful, collaborative and on-time. Replaced an existing dining chandelier and installed a new fan in the living room."

"Installed a ceiling fan and a light. Brandon was efficient. I would use them again."

"They were slow to respond to phone calls and emails."

"The Handy Veteran(s) did an amazing job with our bathroom. We have an older home for which exhaust fans at Menards/ Home Depot just don’t fit right. These men were able to patch up the existing hole in our ceiling to make a modern exhaust fan fit perfectly. They also installed a ceiling light in our shower, all at a very reasonable price. One of our doors was letting in a draft on the bottom and they fixed that for us free of cost without request. They were very respectful of our home and kept good rapport with us every step of the way. They were also able to work with us and our schedules, including coming in during a foot-of-snow storm. If you need any handy work done in your home, we highly recommend The Handy Veteran."

"I contacted dozens of contractors and electricians about replacing the ceiling fan on my 20 ft tall ceiling. Some gave me expensive quotes for $2-3K and didn't have the equipment to do the job. Some showed up with ladders not tall enough to even touch to fan. Jack came out to look at the job, explained why he planned to do it with scaffolding and went above and beyond to recruit a painter to help path a ceiling crack while he is doing the fan. The crew was professional and efficient. They know what they were doing. If you have a tricky job like ours, you can't go wrong with Jack."

"Victor was great to work with start to finish. Shared his plan and took pictures along the way to explain what he was doing. Very reasonably priced, punctual and professional. I didn’t like the original bathroom fan I had chosen and Victor came back to install a different one and gave me a great discount which I appreciated. Looking forward to working with him again for my electric needs at the house!"

"He did the job well but was not upfront about the final cost. He quoted us $200-$250 over the phone which we thought was a decent enough price so we hired him. However after he installed the fan, he charged us $350. I asked why the price went up $100 and he said it was because it took longer. If that wAs the case, and we were not getting charged a fixed rate, the he should have told us this from the get go."
