"I bought an older house that was not equipped with bathroom vent fans. I contacted several different service providers in the area for quotes, and On Time, by far, gave me the best quote of just under $1700 (hardware not included - I had a model I wanted to use).
The service tech showed up for the estimate punctually, and took a real concern with what I was asking for. He let me know what I'd find, what the difficulties were, etc. Oh, and he wore the disposable slippers which are always appreciated.
He showed up on time the day of service, and when he was done he'd actually figured out an issue we had talked about before hand. Very professional, very dedicated to the job. I've found my electrician for the future.

"Sammy came out and moved our dryer outlet from near the floor to a space higher up for better access, and to get it out of the way of our dryer vent hose so our dryer would fit in the cabinet. The original outside-the-wall receptacle was removed and a new junction box added into the wall in its place. A conduit was run from that junction box up inside the wall to another junction box with the new receptacle. This took approximately 2 hours.
Sammy found that the wall in the w/d closet was disintegrating near the floor, but managed to use a bit of wood to secure the junction box at the floor.
Also had Sammy connect our overhead light and fan in our living room to the appropriate switch in that room. The overhead is run via a conduit up the wall and along the ceiling, outside the wall. It starts at a junction box in the wall that contains an outlet. The junction box already had a switch loop connection, so this was a pretty simple fix. This took about 5 minutes.

"I have had a rough day. However Shane and his professional care will allow me to relax in a air conditioned home tonight. First my Air Condition has been out since September and things have began to heat up in Alabama 87 today that not so hot , however when you have 1 wife and four daughters things needed to change. The Ac man came this morning and filled the freon and within 15 minutes my house lost all power due to the breaker. ah Ha!!!! Now I remember why happened last fall. It was never the Ac it is the electrical wiring in my older home. Quickly I made the call to Alabama Electric and talked with Shane. Although he was already on a call for the day , he made time in the late afternoon to come and help my families predicament. Arriving after 1630 , I am sure he would hve preferred to go home, however his professional service and courteousy was a welcomed sight. He not only fixed my problem but inspected my house and it's wiring for under 100$ . I would also like to say that he gave me a discount for being a veteran . Hats off to Shane ! Thank you .
