"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. "Clark Phillips personally came to give me a quote on the work, then a few weeks later his mason, Brandon called me to follow up and he also came out to look at the work that needed to be done. Then called again to see if I wanted to schedule. I felt very secure with their assessment of the work and estimate so I went ahead and scheduled the work to be done early December. They called to delay it a few days due to the weather. When Brandon began the work he completed it within 2.5 days. He was very neat and cleaned up everyday. Clark came back on the last day to review the job with me I'm very happy with the work done and would highly recommend Phillips Masonry."

"Daniel’s young apprentice, Sam came out for the job first but didn’t have the right equipment to inspect my narrower wood stove chimney. He didn’t make excuses, handled the stress of it professionally, and apologized profusely. Daniel arrived and went over everything after the inspection with pics and did a thorough cleaning and made a few future recommendations. Due to the inconvenience, he refused to charge me. Even when I tried to give him some money he was emphatic stating that making me happy was his priority and that my review was the best way to keep him in business! That’s above and beyond service!
