"John originally came to clean the gutters on my parents' house by way of a pre-paid gift certificate from my aunt and uncle. He returned my call with an hour of leaving a voicemail. Luckily he was just finishing some work in the neighborhood and realized he could still fit our job in before the end of the work day. He arrived 10 min later and did quick and excellent work. During pleasant conversation with my father, he learned we could occasionally hear flying squirrels gnawing on wood somewhere over our living room. John took a good look around our roof and attic vents and alerted us to a very small gap at the base of our chimney. Since he would still be in the neighborhood the following day, John offered to come back and repair the gap. My father agreed and John returned as promised. Knowing that we adored these flying squirrels and wanted no harm to come to them, he made noise to coax them out, double checked EVERYONE had evacuated and then made the needed repair. When my father pulled out his checkbook to pay for this additional work, John refused any compensation. Instead, he just asked that in the future we refer any friends or neighbors who might need similar work. This guy is professional, kind and very talented. We would definitely hire him again!"
