"Select Masonry and Construction performed a railing installation onto the top of a newly installed paver-style retainer wall with a walkway on top, leading to a rear entrance to our house. The previous retainer wall was flagged as a safety hazard by our insurance provider and needed to be replaced. The railing was identified as necessary to address the risk of falls from the walkway, which is elevated about 5 ft. above ground level. The professionals from Select Masonry arrived very quickly to assess the work and provided a very reasonable estimate, compared to some of the other companies we had contacted. The contract was drafted very quickly and within 3 days of the contract signing, there were professional railing installers on site. The work was completed within a day and conformed to the description of the custom work we had written into the contract to satisfy our insurance provider underwriter risk concerns. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable and there was no issue with the installation and the sturdiness of the installed free standing railing, which was set into the capstones of the retainer wall, into concrete. We were very impressed with the quality of the railing, the work performed and the price of the installation."

"After heavy rain last weekend , the roof started leaking into the home causing significant water damage to the interior dry wall. I contacted Ideal Roofing and Mike inspected the roof within 24 hours, taking pictures and explaining the issue to me. He left me with several options, but eventually I decided to get the entire roof replaced along with the repair/replacement of the interior water damage. He provided several options for shingle choices as well as metal flashing, vent covers etc. Mike and his team replaced the roof within 2 days, and took another 2 days to repair the interior drywall back to its original condition. Priority One was very responsive and patiently answered all my questions as a 1st time homeowner about replacing a horribly rusty chimney chase cover. New stainless steel chase cover was ready and they came on a Saturday morning to replace it. Good quality, professionalism and exceptional customer service. Priority One even addressed and requests during installation (they added wood board to secure new cover that was too big from measurements of old makeshift cover, refreshed existing chimney cap with rust-proof silver paint, removed rust from existing chimney flue) without complaining or additional charge. "I needed to have my fireplace chimney repaired. It was the old builder's grade chimney with stucco over it that had been cracking and falling apart over the years despite my efforts to patch it. Albert came out and gave us our options. We decided to go with a total rebuild of the chimney constructed in bricks. The chimney would angle in on one side and Albert used some beautiful stone over that. The chimney was extended in height to give us a better draft as well. Albert started when he said he would. The demolition of the old chimney went well. Albert discovered that our firebox was suspended in air on some cinder blocks. He filled in under the firebox with cement and other blocks to secure it before starting to rebuild the chimney in bricks. He even selected the more expensive "older looking" bricks to match the brick front on our house. Albert rebuilt the chimney from ground up, cleaned the firebox and removed the old non-functioning damper inside, installed a chimney cap with the cable. He even installed another chimney cap on our smaller chimney that vents the gas boiler on our main roof. He matched the siding of our house perfectly where he had to cut it in from the angle he created on the chimney. He even replaced some roofing shingles on the roof near the chimney that had cement on them from my years of patching! Albert also made a cut in the chimney above the roof line and inserted the flashing into the cut in the chimney to be sure it would be waterproof! Albert also replaced a piece of damaged siding near the chimney that didn't have to be replaced for the chimney job itself. He also re-arranged our stone edging and created a nice little flower bed next to the chimney. All at no extra charge! We are extremely happy with the job he did. Our fireplace chimney is very large and is very visible as you pull in our driveway. It is now a beautiful sight to see! Albert made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done each day and when the job was completed everything was cleaned up! We couldn't be more happy with the work he did! Hopefully he will have before and after pictures posted on his website soon for all to see what I am talking about. Thank you Albert for such a wonderful job so well done! Our schedule was very tight. When Jay showed up for the masonry work, I found he also did all of the jobs I needed done.
