"The owner was hard to deal with, with a million excuses for almost everything. He didn't seem especially familiar with Angie's List or what the deal was. However, upon prodding, a competent worker did come out and get the fireplace started. He wanted us to pay for transportation from Gilroy + &125/hr. However, finally he took the $99 as promised on Angie's list. More communication needed between Angie's List and vendor."

"We are a young engaged couple who just bought our first condo. Yay! :) The only problem with the condo was the old flooring.? We deliberated for a long time the type of flooring we wanted throughout the house, since there are so many options to choose from.? Adam sat with us and carefully explained all our options.? We ended up going with the red oak hard wood flooring and it is gorgeous! The contractor worked quickly, treated our furniture with care, and even went with me to buy cleaning supplies and taught us how to properly care for the floors.? I would gladly use this company again."

"The work quality was excellent and at a reasonable price. Lee was very flexible and interactive in terms of helping us decide on addition/type of benches, type of railings etc. He recommended built-in LED low voltage lights (From Dek-or) which have come out very well - gives the backyard a whole different look. He was creative in terms of suggesting ways to meet our needs/wants.
This was a good 2-3 week job. Lee and team were punctual and made sure good clean-up was done.He did some electrical work as well to wire up 2 separate low voltage circuits with breakers etc.
All in all, I was very satisfied and would strongly recommend him (as I already did to some of my friends).

Followup (July 2013): One year later, deck showed significant darkening. Lee wasn't sure why - asked me to contact stain manufacturer! Turns out it was due to natural wood tanins seeping out. Had to be cleaned and re-stained. Lee was consistently unresponsive during the process. Refused to take any responsibility. When deck was built, he promised that one of his guys will be available for re-staining in the future. When the time came - announced and quot;What do I know about stains!? You need to get a painterand quot;. The stain was recommended by him and put on originally. Net: I feel like I was taken for a ride witrh initial promises that were not kept and statements of knowledge/expertise that cam up short.
