"I own a multiunit building and in the last year I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had contractors not show up, give a quote and not return, overcharge, not complete the work, complete the work poorly, make excuses, waste time, or refuse to do business on the south side.....it’s been very stressful. So much so that I considered selling the property because it was so difficult to get the help I needed. I decided to keep trying and found HomeAdvisor. They recommended Aco/Daniel. We talked on Thursday evening and he said he could probably do Tuesday. I wanted to cry because I had just hired someone who didn’t complete the work but told my tenants he’d be back Saturday and his was like the 4th guy. So I really wanted someone to show up and get it done. Daniel said he could do Sunday if I really needed. I did. We agreed on a price and he said to let him know. I decided to go with him and we confirmed via text. I kind of expected him not to show based on the number of bad experiences I’d had. That’s how done I was. Sunday morning, he texted to let me know he was on the way. I arrived at the building and walked through unit by unit with him and Peter. They understood what I wanted and kept asking what else to be sure nothing was missed. They left to get materials. I left to get doorbells. When I came back they were almost done with a door on one floor. Then they moved to the next floor. It was then that I realized I had been holding my breath. This was working out! The work looked good. They were going the extra mile. They were professional. They were working hard and focused. They asked if I was happy with each item they completed before moving on. Even my picky tenant was happy with the work. I can’t tell you how pleased I am with these guys and their performance. This is the first time I’ve felt like I could rest because my tenant’s checklists were completed. Some have been waiting since August. The work is great. Their attitudes are great. I told Daniel that I’ve never been so happy to pay for something. I cannot wait to recommend them and they will be the first people I call in the future. Thank you guys so much."

"I needed flooring installed in three bedrooms and closets. A prior contractor (not on Home Advisor) told me it would take a week. US Standard Flooring came out quoted me two days and hit the mark. They were professional, fast, the team never stopped working. They even fixed some issues with the prior contractors installation in a hallway. Easy to work with, very reasonable prices. I would absolutely hire them again."

"As I have area rugs, all I needed was carpet padding. The major companies that you see on television, the ones with the cute memorable jingles, wouldn't sell me or install the pad unless I bought carpet. Furthermore, the ones I talked to don't sell Karastan. Luis Carpeting came promptly and Mr Perez and his crew of two knocked out 7 rug pads in less than an hour and a half for a very reasonable price. They were friendly not familiar. Professional, but not personal. They are small business. Please patronize them and recommend them to your friends and does alike."

"SRS Exteriors are professional & reliable! They extended our downspouts, re-secured loose siding, replaced our attic fan, and installed soffit vents. Andrew & Mo are great communicators and they are very personable. When inspecting our home, they made recommendations and clearly explained what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. Then they followed up with a detailed and reasonable quote. Finally, they completed the work as promised, and I couldn't be happier. Without a doubt, we will be contacting them in the future! 5 stars all the way!"

"We had a lot of damage due to a plumbing back-up. They repaired a lot of drywall and had the walls perfectly smooth for us to paint. They primed the walls as well. They also installed 2 new vanities and re-tiled a floor for us. The owner and project manager I met with were very knowledgeable and offered a lot of great ideas. The crew that worked here were very friendly. They even left the place in nicer shape than it was before they started their work. I highly recommend them for any home or office remodeling and repairs."

"I received at least 3 estimates from Angie. Dan from AKDK followed up right away and was the most specific and fair in his estimate. He started on the day he said, came promptly each time he said he was coming, and worked with my tenant's schedule. The men worked hard at several different indoor commercial projects, dealing with unique in- the- field challenges. The project consisted of drop ceilings, new lighting and switches, some wiring, moving walls (drywall and plaster), flooring, electrical, painting, etc. They performed each job well, to my satisfaction. The men cleaned up after each day with their own equipment (previous contractors used some of my tools and broke my vacuum!). I was so pleased, I actually looked for other projects I had been putting off for them to take care of. I highly recommend Dan and AKDK Services. When the job is complete, I will be looking into their cleaning services as well. How refreshing! I have owned several properties over the years and have experienced several service providers, some so happy to get rid of. AKDK stands apart. Thank you, Dan! "I can't praise enough Daniel and his company of hard workers. They all took such care in the project and worked very efficiently together. They are respectful of one's property and try their best to keep everything as clean as possible while they work and then clean up afterwards. Daniel was very concerned about helping get the floor that I wanted and then did extra repair to make sure that no one would know that a replacement of the flooring had been made. The work was done very quickly and they were careful of following the rules of my condo association. I highly recommend DAC."

"Miguel came recommended....he was very professional and competent. My project was to install and repair drywall and install floor tile in our bathroom. He showed up on time , was prepared and completed the job to our satisfaction. Other people in our building asked for his contact info. And he also cleaned up every time he was there. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any remodeling job as heâ s versed in tile, drywall, painting , cabinet / appliance / countertop installs as well.... Also, he knows how to manage a crew for big jobs... He does QUALITY work and is easy to work with....!!!"

These two professional guys arrived to my house exactly 15 minute early ready to work without no hesitation on what to do. They had my carpet/ceramic pulled up, bagged, disposed of, and along with coverings every entrance way to my home with plastic at least in the first 30 minutes after arriving to my home.
