"My maple wood floors were refinished by Floored at Home in May of 2022. Peter from this company did the refinishing. Peter came on time, answered all of my questions and was very organized, skilled and efficient. Peter was very respectful and professional. You can tell that he takes pride in his work. Peter had to replace two boards that had over the years split in half. Peter was so skilled that that he was able to match the new wood to where it was barely noticeable that the boards were recently installed.The floor turned out beautiful and looks brand new. I would recommend the company and plan to use them to do my stairs. Their pricing was very fair. The management and office staff were very responsive to my concerns, and questions. I want to thank Paul, Bob and Ryan for returning my calls and making themselves available. I was given written instructions on how to care for the floor and what products to use. Shortly after arriving at our house to look at samples, his wife also arrived and was just as curteous, pleasant and "no pressure". They listened to what I wanted and produced a product selection that was of good quality that fit within my budget. It was such a pleasure doing business with a family owned co. who cared enough to check in on the project throughout it's duration. "I needed my carpet stretched so when Bill was coming to give an estimate (after getting back to me right away), I mentioned at the last minute I was also looking to carpet a bedroom (I planned to just use a big box store). I told him what I had planned to spend, so he brought some samples. I was floored when he gave me the price for stretching carpet in 3 rooms and the hall (including moving furniture), & installing carpet downstairs with padding. It was less than I expected to pay for just the carpet install. He was available when I needed him and had the job complete in about 4 hours. He did a great job. "On my initial call, Damian informed me that he was too busy to do my ramp project, but he directed me to the best way to proceed with my project; he specifically described the names of several prefab ramp companies he found using Google; I called him before placing an order on-line to run it by him, and he took the time to verify that it seemed reasonable; later, when I took measurements for my order, I realized that I made a major error; that an area where I had my garbage pails enclosed, was in the way; after I explained my error to the parts' service representative, my order was put on-hold and she asked for me to fax her a diagram (that included measurements); by that time, Damian told me that his job will probably be done, so that he would then be able to install the ramp; I felt more comfortable with Damian taking care of the diagram and measurements, and he came and told me the best way to complete the job, and took care of getting the information to customer service; he did not name a price for coming here to do this, and he seemed satisfied with the gratuity I gave him; the job was professionally done, with minimally opening of the deck at the stairs; the price was not discussed before or during the job, as I was willing to pay almost anything to allow for some mobility for my wife; when we settled up after the job was completed, I was given the necessary additional parts receipts for what he laid out, and his bill for labor was only slightly more than half of what I was prepared to pay; thank you so much Damian & Dan, excellent workers for a very fair price."
