"Had B&D refinish ~650 SqFt of hardwood on the first floor. Also had them rip out carpeting and pad in the 2nd floor hallway and install new hardwood and finish. When we returned home after a timely 3-day vacation, we were speechless. The quality of the work and attention to detail was fantastic. They cleaned everything, and took great care to contain dust. We had them back a month later and removed carpeting in our living room and install new hardwood. We are planning on having them back sometime in 2020 to install hardwood in the 4 upstairs bedrooms. "I highly recommend Richard from Tomahawk flooring. I hired them to do carpet installation at a rental property in Westbrook. Lowe’s ended up losing the carpeting I had purchased a few weeks prior and delivered other very inferior carpeting instead. Richard was able to secure new high quality carpeting for me the next day and sold it to me at a fair price. They completed a tricky installation (large odd-shaped room with 2 closets as well as a winding staircase) quickly and professionally. Richard’s team did such a great job on the carpeting that I hired them to replace a vinyl plank floor in my Scarborough home with hardwood. Again, the job was done quickly and professionally, working well into the evening hours so it would be done for me for Easter! I couldn’t be happier with Richard and Tomahawk flooring."

"Kevin was the key component that made my first and forever home into the dream home I hoped for. He worked very hard, was creative and knowledgeable. He was able to find solutions to problems that crept up (I feel like there were more than average at my house). He tore out my old flooring, shower, bathroom closet, countertops and the front porch. He replaced the outlets and switches, all the lights(inside and out), built a deck (10’x15’)with a 23’ ramp, built the new shower which meant all new walls, shower floor/pan, drain pipes, shower doors and shower faucet. He installed all new flooring, countertops(which included the new sinks and faucets)painted everywhere(including the shutters outside), replaced doorknobs, built a doghouse for the oil tank, fixed the flooring in my shed, built a pad for my grill out of leftover decking, put stairs on at the back door, picked up supplies and flooring(for inside and deck) fixed the storm doors, basically rebuilt the wall in my laundry room after it was hacked up by some other workers who didn’t have as much care. He also hung up security cameras and solar panels for them and power washed a little of my house. Kevin was trustworthy from the very beginning and I had complete faith in leaving my house renovation in his care. He was willing to come let in and be around for other contractors when I had to be at work. He was even willing to throw in a helping hand if needed! I highly recommend Kevin and will be keeping him in my speed dial for future house reno needs!"
