Richard the owner explained that the orangish redish color that the oak showed would turn out very light after it was sanded and that he wouldn't recommend staining it. I simply followed his advice. I cannot emphasize enough the high level of craftsmanship and quality of his work. His prices were incredibly reasonable. You will be well served to use this company.
