"I contacted Dean in November last year, he was very responsive and came out for a quote immediately. On his second visit, we discussed every details of the deck and signed the contract. He was very good at giving advice and trying to fit into our budget. With the winters and bad weather, we didn't start the project until March this year, and because our yard is very close to a creek, we have to file an RDA permit before we can start. Dean was very helpful in terms of talking to the right person and gathering all information for us, and he even covered the wetland delineation labor for the surveyor in his part. It took us almost one month to get the permit, and he completed the deck in about 7 days, his team was quite on time, cleaned everything afterwards, now we have a really beautiful deck. I should tell you that how much we appreciated Dean's job. We started to quote for our deck in May 2014, and hired a contractor in August. He was supposed to finish the project in October, but after he took out the decking, he asked for additional $5000, because he found he had to replace the frame and footing as well. However, that's what we agreed at first place, replacing the frame and deck and everything. Then he never returned any of my calls, or emails, and I have to live with the decking with open-nails for the whole winter. I hate to say, but  he was the most horrible contractor I ever dealt with, out of at least twenty contractors I ever talked to (I remodeled the kitchen and bathroom, replaced the floor and carpet) . His name is Sander Alves, Pros Home Services company, don't go to him for anything! Anyway, then I found Dean, everything worked out so easily. He's so responsive, always on time, calls before arriving. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a home project.
