Get matched with top flooring pros in North Hollywood, CA

"Carpet Time was awesome! They were great at communicating with me, they got me the perfect flooring, and they installed in a timely manner."

"I found Always improve flooring on Angi and am more than happy to add another 5star review. We wanted all our solid oak floors refinished and then have new oak floors added in two new additional rooms that were built. This required matching and blending in new wood with 40 year old wood in places. In stark contrast to the general contractor we hired, Juan was very courteous, professional and genuinely took pride in his work. He and his team worked very fast to finish everything in just a few days. He was proactive and checked in with me with any questions he had. I couldn't be happier with the new flooring."

"My carpets had stains and were super dirty and I thought maybe it's time I get new wall-to-wall carpet. But thought I'd give Moe a shot at cleaning them. I told him they were in pretty bad condition. He came over today and frankly I'm surprised and so happy at how they turned out. Amazingly clean."

"Very happy with the quality of the work. Always Improve Flooring was fast and our floors look beautiful. The value of the work is exceptional. Super pleased with the result."

"Great people doing great work. They do what they say and go above an beyond their scope of work. Glad I met them and plan to use them ANYTIME I have to place carpet."

• We had a tight schedule with a upcoming move in date. Mike Pillar came to our new home, and got back to us with an estimate. We decided to accept his bid, selected one of the samples that he provided, and went to his shop to sign the contract. At that time we were told that the wood that we had selected was not in stock, and it would take six weeks to get. He suggested an alternative, that was available immediately. We were disappointed but had a time crunch, took the new sample to our home, and determined that is as an acceptable replacement, (although visibly was inferior quality 25% thinner), than our original selection. The following week, we met with the installers, and proceeded to leave them to work, when the foreman came running after me, and wanted to show me that the wood that they were installing, did not match the sample, that was still in my house. It was clearly a different dye lot. I was very upset and got in touch with Mike Pillar. He insisted that it was the same, even though myself, my husband, and his employee clearly saw a difference. I was thrilled to find out that the original wood that we had selected suddenly was available, however, we were now being charged an extra $680 to get the floor that we were originally quoted on. The explanation that we were given for the price increase was that the stairs cost more with that wood, even though that flooring isn't even on the stairs. The stairs are stained wood. In the end the quality of the work, and the overall pricing was good. I didn't appreciate the bait and switch tactics, the unreasonable price increase, or the way that I was spoken to by the owner.

"Beau and his crew installed a new prefinished wood floor in my dining room, entry way, living room and family room. In a few short years, the floor is scratched, dented and floor boards are loose. We have contacted them more times than I can count. Most of the time there is never a call back or when an appointment is set a no show. This is not the way a business should be run. I would think twice about hiring them. I know I am in the minority, but truth is truth. UPDATE: Beau contacted us and his crew came out promptly completing all necessary repairs."

"About two weeks ago, I was online searching on Google for the best flooring company in the South Bay area. I live in Gardena, and Hardwood Floor Tech came up in my search. I gave them a call, and George helped me choose the right flooring material for my home. I can say that George is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. He is very knowledgeable about floor covering and really knows how to help you select the right flooring for your home. Most of all, he is someone you can trust. I absolutely love my new laminate floors. I highly recommend Hardwood Floor Tech to anyone looking for quality flooring work in Gardena and the South Bay area."

"We received several bids on the work we needed done. Mario Diaz Flooring was not the cheapest bid and not the most expensive. We chose them because of their ratings and the confidence Mario had that we would love the end product. Our situation was not just refinishing original hardwood floors, putting adding a brand new 300 square foot oak floor with a 70-year-old existing oak floor that flow together. When we pulled up the carpet, we had a lot of stains in the wood, some fresh and wet from my daughter's dog when they visit us, which I was not aware existed. I was amazed that Mario’s crew got all the stains out and the new room they added matched the old oak floors so well. They did a beautiful job. They showed up everyday and completed the job in a timely manner. The crew worked very hard and were very polite. A few companies that quoted the project seemed to make a big deal about adding a brand new room with the original oak flooring we had. Mario assured us we would be happy with the end product and gave us confidence in his craftsmanship. He said our floors will look pretty much the same because he uses solid oak similar to what was used in the 1950s (newer but oak). He uses a process to age the wood to help it match the original. We were amazed how the floors matched up so perfectly. They laid it down piece-by-piece (no fake wood or prefab material). We absolutely love the look of our new floors. I will never cover up these beautiful wood floors with carpet ever again. I encourage people to get multiple bids and have conversations with the companies. It is time consuming but worth the effort or just skip them all and call Mario Diaz' company. If you get multiple bids, you will figure out fast who is taking advantage and highballing the project."

"Amazing - Byron and Pedro were punctual, courteous, and the job they did was nothing short of impeccable. My floors look fantastic and can’t recommend them enough!"
