They had to join the floors of two rooms to a hallway by splicing new pieces of hardwood in because previous owners moved walls and just carpeted over the entire upstairs afterward. We hired them to splice in the threshold areas, and also remove the carpet that went down the stairs and refinish it all. They were fabulous, extremely nice to work with, super clean. "First-time home owners. Good experience with Doctor Dustless. They had a competitive price per sq ft. We briefly entertained a competing bid that was a bit lower but that contractor seemed relutant to provide things (like an itemized estimate) in writing. We made the right choice. The floors were under old carpet for 27 years. There were some areas of staining from spills that sat in the carpet and dog urine stains in a few places. All TV coaxial cables were run through holes that were drilled through the floor in each room. Doctor Dustless sanded everything, plugged up the holes and stained the floors a dark walnut and finished with a satin sheen Bona HD traffic. They look like newly installed floors. We are happy with the service and the result and I would use them again."
