"Southern Connecticut Flooring was great! They refinished one large 12 x15 bedroom for me. I would use them again."

"Mark and his team did a great job on the flooring installation."

"Had wood floor taken up and LVP flooring installed. Company did fantastic job. Worked fast, kept area (living room and kitchen) clean and neat while working. Would certainly use them again. And highly recommend them for anyone’s flooring needs"

"Disappointed and would NOT recommend. We picked Rocky Sanders based on recommendations and his Angie's list rating. The first time he finished the floors, there were bubbles all over the floor, mostly around the HVAC vents, which he tried to sand out. He told us he used a new polyurethane and had an ‘expert’ come look at the floors. We were told it was probably something that had been put on the floors years ago. When the crew tried to sand the bubbles out it caused scratches all over the floor. He had to completely start over. He then restained and put polyurethane down instructing his crew to not run the air this time while drying. After the first coat of poly was dry during the second re-finishing and without asking permission, he sanded them all over again because he didn't like the way it looked. While we appreciated the drive for perfection, we should have been consulted before sanding our floors for a 3rd time! We were told the crew used the wrong grit for the second sanding. There were different workers here all the time and some of the workers were not professional. The three sanding left dust everywhere. The crew vacuumed the baseboards and window sills, but did not get even close to it all and there was a thick coat of dust on our newly painted walls. In addition, the baseboards and walls were scratched and stained. Do not paint your walls before your hardwoods are refinished by Rocky Sanders. He offered to have the crew come back and vacuum, but we refused based on their prior work. He was very sorry and apologized. Rocky did not ask for payment until the job was completed. At that point, he expected full payment despite the week and half of additional agony and property damage.
It was really a nightmare experience for both parties and caused a lot of stress. Two positives are that he did "make it right" by continuing to work on the floors and the end product turned out nicely but horrible experience getting to that point.

"They were able to come out and do what I needed to be done relatively quickly, they did a great job. Once my tub dried, there were a few areas that need to be touched up and they came out within a few days and were able to touch it up and it looks great. I had my tub reglazed and I also had two tile floors, reglazed, and everything looks superb."

"John was great; he went over every detail so I could get a better understanding. My floor looks phenomenal! Great service, and I highly recommend it."

"I can't say enough good things about DTR and their entire crew. Daniel talked with me about my budget and gave me a great qoute to remove my old flooring and lay new LVP. They stayed in good contact with me and started my flooring two days later. My job turned out to be extremely difficult and labor intensive and DTR's work ethic was astounding. They were detailed and the flooring looks fantastic! They addressed every question I had along the way. There was something else I needed after the job was "done" and they came back the next morning and resolved my concern. I plan on hiring DTR Painting & Renovations for every one of my future adventures in home maintenance. Thank you DTR!"
