Get matched with top flooring pros in Avalon, CA

"We received several bids on the work we needed done. Mario Diaz Flooring was not the cheapest bid and not the most expensive. We chose them because of their ratings and the confidence Mario had that we would love the end product. Our situation was not just refinishing original hardwood floors, putting adding a brand new 300 square foot oak floor with a 70-year-old existing oak floor that flow together. When we pulled up the carpet, we had a lot of stains in the wood, some fresh and wet from my daughter's dog when they visit us, which I was not aware existed. I was amazed that Mario’s crew got all the stains out and the new room they added matched the old oak floors so well. They did a beautiful job. They showed up everyday and completed the job in a timely manner. The crew worked very hard and were very polite. A few companies that quoted the project seemed to make a big deal about adding a brand new room with the original oak flooring we had. Mario assured us we would be happy with the end product and gave us confidence in his craftsmanship. He said our floors will look pretty much the same because he uses solid oak similar to what was used in the 1950s (newer but oak). He uses a process to age the wood to help it match the original. We were amazed how the floors matched up so perfectly. They laid it down piece-by-piece (no fake wood or prefab material). We absolutely love the look of our new floors. I will never cover up these beautiful wood floors with carpet ever again. I encourage people to get multiple bids and have conversations with the companies. It is time consuming but worth the effort or just skip them all and call Mario Diaz' company. If you get multiple bids, you will figure out fast who is taking advantage and highballing the project."

"Wow! An honest contractor who responds immediately. After looking at my concrete situation, he identified the problem and recommended a quick, inexpensive DIY solution. Great to see honest, sincere people still are out there."

"We hired McCormick to remodel our master bathroom, and the process couldn’t have been smoother. Khaled guided us through everything, and his team was skilled and respectful. They handled the job efficiently, stayed within budget, and kept our home tidy. Now, our bathroom feels like a relaxing oasis, with high-quality finishes and a modern touch we love. McCormick’s attention to detail really made the difference, and I’d gladly hire them for future remodels. This experience was everything we hoped for."

"I would not hesitate in recommending My Flooring. From the start the customer service was above par. I was not rushed at any point, even when taking time to select carpet. I was handled patiently, and when I was ready to get the carpet the process was timely and without glitch."

"How did it go????????????????? Well let me tell you. After visiting his showroom and choosing some options, HE MADE A PERSONAL VISIT TO OUR HOME TO HELP US DECIDE ON THE DECOR WE WERE TRYING TO ACHIEVE. He brought samples and he used his expertise and great taste in helping us to decide the perfect size plank of our hardwood floors and stain and the color of carpeting that would fit our needs, in addition to bringing samples of the latest textures and colors. His prices are fair and instills great trust. His installers were excellent and they did a great job. I would say we were 100% happy from beginning to end. If I could give Larry SIX STARS!!!!! I would. We will definitely be using him for future projects and referring him to all family and friends. He's the best!"

"Jason's prices are very reasonable. He is very helpful and knowledgable with regard to providing advice on what products to use on carpets / floors.

"Mahshad from Z Flooring did an AMAZING job on our flooring project. We have a marble hearth with awkward angles that other installers refused to attempt. They suggested we tear it out, but making those complex cuts was no problem for Mahshad. He flawlessly fitted the molding riser and it couldn't look more perfect! Plus he was quick and courteous. We couldn't be more pleased."
