"After having my existing floors refinished very poorly by another company, I knew I would not be using them to sand and stain brand new unfinished hardwood that I had installed in the rest of my house. I had called Sal based on a recommendation from a contractor. He came to my house the same day and gave me a very reasonable estimate shortly after he left. He was very responsive and easily reachable for any questions I had before and during the work. His crew was neat, effective and did a beautiful job on my new floors. My only regret is not calling Sal sooner and hiring him for the first job. I would highly recommend him and his company and I plan on using them to redo the terrible job that was done on my other floors."

"I think about Ishmael and his team almost everyday when I walk around and admire our gorgeous hardwood floors. They did an impeccable job and as a first time home buyer, Ishmael was able to calm our nerves and give us the confidence that we were making the right choices. He stripped all the old carpeting and laminate in the kitchen and was able to fix rotten wood and made it look seamless. They even found jewelery from the previous owners hidden behind a loose floorboard and notified us about it so we could give it back to its rightful owner. Our home will need more repairs in the future and he was able to give us great insight into what we should do now and what we can do later. Cannot recommend him enough. Thank you so much Ishmael!"

"I gave Floor Plan Inc. a not so good review from a misunderstanding. Jorge has contacted me numerous times to mend the wrong. Unfortunately I no longer live in NY state and am not in need of his services. I write this review again because anyone can make a bad decision, it's how we handle the decision afterwards. I truly believe Jorge was overwhelmed with work and that is the reason for his cancellations. I would recommend this pro because he believes in delivering exceptional customer service and has proven that with my situation."

He dissuaded us from our initial plan to install a wooden floor medallion because it would not likely be flush with the floor unless we refinished the entire room. He suggested replacing just a few of the floor boards and quoted a very reasonable price. He sent a professional floor installer who worked very efficiently while protecting our furniture and paintings from dust. We are very happy with the results."
