"My experience with Performance Floor Coverings was excellent from the first contact to the completion of the work. I needed my 6 year-old carpeting stretched out. It had developed ripples and bulges that were unsightly and potentially dangerous to elderly walkers. Rob and Joe came on a Friday, gave me a very fair estimate and returned the next Tuesday to do the work. They were right on time! They treated my home with care and treated me with respect and humor. The bill was the same as his estimate and the carpet looks terrific. They even cleaned up after their work and vacuumed as well - with their own vacuum. "We highly recommend Illi Hardwood Flooring for both Hardwood floors and for Finished Carpentry. Our initial agreement was to remove carpet and install hardwood floors in our second story. A part of that agreement included removing carpet and refinishing the stairway from first to second. When the carpet was removed, we were surprised, the stairs needed to be totally rebuilt. David kept us informed promptly when unexpected challenges arose with the stairs, listened to our preferences, presented alternatives and estimates, completed the work in time for the next contractor on our project, and made sure we were happy with the result. The crew was fast, efficient, very professional and great to work with. When it came down to choosing a color, I went to the house at the time they specified, we tested out a few color mixtures on the floor until we got the right one. The job was done in the time they specified and I was amazed with their clean up of the house. Again, I love my floors....and I've received many compliments on them!!"
