So we recently secured the foundation of our home with Groundworks. First, let me point out that stabilizing the foundation of your home can be a daunting undertaking. But we had never had to address this level of home renovation and the extensive landscaping in our yard complicated the scope of our project. Our foreman Clem, and his team (Luis, Noah, Ran, and Rokk) literally went above and way beyond our expectations to explain next steps, listen to us, problem-solve, and execute a solution to every concern we raised. Clem was a constant and reassuring presence on-site, informing us continually throughout the process to ensure our level of confidence and understanding. As he put it, "I am here to take care of you." He meant that, and he certainly did. "I have owned rentals properties in Lincoln for over a decade and I have hired a lot of contractors to do a myriad of work for the houses over the years. When Trevor came out to see what needed to be done (a leaking egress window, which was improperly installed by another company, Thrasher was there to fix their mistakes) he gave the most in-depth analysis of what the problem was I have ever seen. "They did an excellent job on repairing the foundation and it stopped the leak. The sidewalk they tried to lift with foam did not do so well. To their credit, they are coming back to make it right and they are going to replace the sidewalk. They even went above and beyond and because of that, we would definitely recommend them."

No reason really - they were competative with another company that we chose instead, and then the company we chose didn't show up! The area where we had the retaining wall built was unaccessable by machine so they had to hand dig the earth out (a huge deal!).This company is professional and works hard. The wall looks wonderful and they even did some detail work to make it look even better than I had in my mind!

"Contractor was chronically late for all appointments by 2-3 hours. He stayed and worked well into the evening, even in the dark. I appreciate that he got it done eventually, but did not like having someone there till 9:30 at night. He did a good job on the concrete stairs - they look great. He left a mess in my basement when he repaired the front stoop. He also used a folding chair in my basement to stand on without asking - it is now a mess. For the wood railing on the back stoop, I specifically asked for a 4-5" space to be left under the bottom of the railing so I could sweep snow off in the winter. I also wanted the railing going down the stairs. At first, he did not want to do this (said something about code did not require it for the 3 steps going up) but it was part of the estimate that I approved. I asked him to fix the space under the railing and put on the railing for the stairs. He did come back and fix all to my satisfaction. Very nice guy, just not punctual or professional.
