"We needed major repair work done on our patio foundation. It was a complicated project for a variety of reasons; I can't say enough great things about our experience with the very talented and professional folks at EA Masonry. 5+++ star rating. Here are a few standouts: 1) Dan responded to my request for an estimate within hours, and he and his father Luis were able to look at the job the next day, and provided us with a very competitive quote. 2) Dan was able to schedule the job in a timely way and was very good with communication regarding when they could start. 3) The team started on exactly the day that they said they would and finished the project in a timely manner. 4) Best of all, they did an AMAZING job! Not only did they repair and reinforce the crumbling foundation, but they also smoothed out all of the visible sides with a new cement facing so that it no longer looked all patchwork and uneven. Job was very reasonably priced. Professional crew. Will absolutely hire again!!!"

"NE Foundation Crack Repair did a full repoint of our late-1800s basement (which looked like it hadn't been done ever!). Staff were super responsive during estimate and project processes. Cost was reasonable. What I appreciated most was how communicative and respectful the guys who completed the job were. Overall, we are so happy to have used this company."

"Henry repaired both corners on both sets of stairs on my property he made it match the original design and also fixed the bottom of the steps. He fixed my landing making it more comfortable to get in and out of my home and also painted the entire steps after pressure washing everything. He went above and beyond and kept me updated along the way. He was kind and professional."

"The project went great, from the first phone call to the end of the job. We were called a day before to confirm the arrival time, and the work crew arrived on schedule. It turned out they had some additional material from a previous job that day, so they actually repaired a bit more of the wall than had been agreed on, which we really appreciated. When we originally scheduled the job, we were given information on other services that Pioneer Basement provides, but at no time were we given any sales pitches. We're very confident that we picked the right firm to do our foundation repairs -- we'll definitely call them first for any similar work, and will recommend them to friends."

"We wanted to clean up our front concrete stairway. Even though it was structurally sound, there was some visible cracking from decades of patching due to the elements. Ben did a fantastic job of bonding the sides and top with quality mortar. Additionally, he repaired some decorative brickface that had broken free. Ben even followed up with smoothing out the spreading after it dried the following day. We highly recommend Ben the Mason for any repairs or installations no matter how large or small. Jeff K and Cindy J of Beverly, Ma."

"I required some repairs to the masonry of a granite and cinderblock foundation. James is pleasant, clearly explains the work that he intends to do, and shows the results when finished. He fit my work into his schedule and his crew completed all the repairs within a few days. He and his crew removed all the debris when finished. He also adjusted his schedule to address some additional repairs that were previously unnoticed. I highly recommend James and his company."

"Quality and service was great. Price is rated so low because the repair took about 2.5 hours, which works out to about $400 per hour. I know contractors have to make money, but I could have done it myself for around $200, only reason I used a contractor was that I was selling the home and buyer demanded repair be done by a contractor."

"Excellent foundation repair! The team was professional, explained everything clearly, and the work was top-notch. Very satisfied with the results!"

"Learned about repairing concrete cracks in a foundation."

"I have worked with over a dozen A-rated companies on Angie's List, and the Narrow Lane is my favorite. We have worked with them consistently for over 5 years. They are reliable, diligent, and very talented. I have spoken many times with the crew members and know that the Narrow Lane pays fair wages and respects all labor and finance laws. Here is a story: when heavy snow tipped one of our giant arborvitae over, the snowplow crew noticed. Before we even asked for help, the owner of the Narrow Lane was on site to assess the problem. His crew righted the tree immediately and saved its root system, also saving us a lot of money. The company has the intimacy of a small business, but I have been surprised by the breadth of their capabilities. They have a landscape architect with decades of experience. Many of the team members have a deep knowledge of botany. They have heavy equipment and take care of stonework and landscape lighting. If you hire the Narrow Lane for snow removal, the operations director will send you an email before EVERY winter storm discussing the forecast and the company's plan for your property. You can call or email them at any time to modify the plan based on your needs, for example, your work schedule. In summary, the Narrow Lane is a high-performing company that adheres to its principles and will take very good care of you and your property!"
