"We noticed some cracking on our outside walls and separation on our front steps. We realized that this is a common problem in Colorado due to the poor composition of the soil. So we recently secured the foundation of our home with Groundworks. First, let me point out that stabilizing the foundation of your home can be a daunting undertaking. It is also one of the most responsible ways to perserve the equity in your property. Groundworks has a reputation for excellence in preparation, execution, and problem-solving in foundation work. But we had never had to address this level of home renovation and the extensive landscaping in our yard complicated the scope of our project. While we were concerned about our project's complexity, we were extremely relieved at the high level of knowledge, competence, communication, customer service, and professionalism awarded to us by the Groundworks foundation team. Our foreman Clem, and his team (Luis, Noah, Ran, and Rokk) literally went above and way beyond our expectations to explain next steps, listen to us, problem-solve, and execute a solution to every concern we raised. Clem was a constant and reassuring presence on-site, informing us continually throughout the process to ensure our level of confidence and understanding. As he put it, "I am here to take care of you." He meant that, and he certainly did. We can enthusiastically state that working with, and completing our foundation project with Groundworks was a GREAT experience!"

"I would like to sing the praises of Alan & Liz's landscaping company, Limitless Landscape. My daughter, Annalies, discovered them online and I am very happy that she did. I had front yard that was very much in need of large-scale repair including collapsing retaining walls on both sides of the driveway. "The only reason this company gets an overall grade of C and not an F is because they are prompt and professional with emails, phone calls and showing up on time. We contacted this company (1 of 3 companies) to help us assess why we were having water issues in our basement, mostly in one concentrated area where our furnace, water heater and water softener are located. Long story short, the sales person assessed that we needed a very expensive sump pump. He also tried to sell us every other thing imaginable related to repairing basement water issues. By the time his bid was done, it was sitting at $17,000! He was very professional and took the time to look around in the basement and had an impeccable computer presentation but we were shocked at the upsell. Since then, we've had 2 other consultations with the 3rd one being today. When we told today's salesman about our issues, he said he had really good news for us. He said the water issues we were having was more than likely a clogged floor drain. So he asked if he could turn on the water softener (which is normally programmed to run at night), and we said sure. Once he turned it on, the floor drain began to overflow. He asked us to watch it through it's cycle which takes about an hour. He left and sure enough, after about 45 minutes, I heard it at it's loudest point and went down to find water all over the floor in that area. So what will thankfully only cost us a minimal amount could have cost us thousands of dollars had we went with Thrasher."

Alejandro and his crew did an excellent job in repairing our foundation and getting the chimney back against the side of the house like it used to be before the foundation shifted. Expensive, yes, but quality work usually is AND worth it!! My hat is off to Alejandro and his crew. They were very careful to put down paper so as not to track mud into our home. They were very careful so as not to disturb the cable wires running along the foundation. These guys were just great, Thank you."

Due to shade, dog damage, etc., our back yard had turned into a mud yard.  The grass had thinned or died, and the soil had then eroded away.  Penton?s team added a few of inches of soil and then covered the soil with sod.

I first want to praise the Penton team for showing up when they said they would and doing what they agreed to do.  My back yard was transformed from mud yard to thick lawn.  My only complaint is with the damage done to my front yard while moving soil and sod to the back yard.  I understand that some damage is inevitable, but the other landscapers that I have seen put boards down to limit the heavy equipment damage.  Penton?s team instead put down narrow sod patches to cover the tracks left by their track steer.  This left a very uneven patch of lawn, with high tracks where the sod was set bordered by low ?barrow pit? areas.  Friends and neighbors have literally tripped due to the very uneven strips.  I don?t know how the damage can be repaired without stripping, leveling, and then re-sodding the area.

I?m very thankful for the work that John?s team did for us, but I get a little angry every time I mow the damaged area.
