"Ken was awesome. He showed up on time, was knowledgeable and honest. It's our foundation, and our interior has cracks from the settling of all the rain, Ken could have told us anything and we would have probably believed him. But he was so honest, and we really appreciated that. He told us that there is some rotting wood in the frame that needs to be replaced asap, to stop the settling, that would cost about $800 including parts and labor. He then said that our foundation looks good, but could probably do with some seismic retrofitting at some point, but not urgent or necessary at this time. We had Foundation Works do the work. The team that did the work was prompt, courteous, cleaned up after themselves and showed us in detail the work that was done. We would definitely hire them again and have referred them to our neighbors."

"Our project was one step and a landing on our porch. Approx. 30 sq feet. We had the top layer of tile removed and concrete around the door area chiseled and jack hammered away. They then cut fossil stone for risers and step/landing in large squares as requested. They did put up a moisture barrier at the entrance and calked after grouting the stone. This was done upon the City of Downeys expectations. I believe that wouldn't have been done had I not called the city to come by to clarify the code for this job. So my only complaint is that some workers, actually most don't keep up or research the code. Then when the city does visit you may have to tear down a project and re do it. That can be costly and frustrating. Our porch and step look great. Not sure if the cost to us was cheap, but it is done and looks great."

"The guys at Del Mar Landscaping were great. Conrad, the owner of the company is the best. He is honest, understanding, and willing to work with you. His workers are also great - they always came with a smile and eager to work. They worked round the clock to get as much done as possible each day they came. Now, like all construction type jobs, there were a few things that didn't go as planned but the guys made sure to fix things as best as possible to give me what I envisioned / wanted. Ex. the putting green they installed was a little bumpy around the holes, wasn't as smooth as I'd hope it'd be - they came with a solution and fixed it within a few days of me letting them know. There were even a couple occasions where the plants they planted died a couple of weeks after they put them in and they, without question or hassle, replaced them. They are willing to own up to their mistakes (it happens) and fix things - which is refreshing as not all contractors I've dealt with are like this. I would definitely work with these guys again."

"**SIMPLY OUTSTANDING** Robert Garcia Concrete is the only company, in the past 3 yrs that we hire. During this time, Robert and his crew have completed 3 jobs for us. Everything from our first conversation about the upcoming project is fully estimated in detail and documented in both email and text by Robert. His attention to customer service is beyond compare. The cost is very fair. The level of perfection that the entire crew puts forth is really enjoyable to witness. Our most recent project was a concrete patio replacing a preexisting. wooden deck that, over the years was in disrepair. Robert and his crew demo'd the structure in short order, leaving a clean area. The next morning they installed rebar and forms. The next day they were here bright and early w/ concrete pump, truck, and in no time had the new patio slab looking fabulous. Robert himself, always returns the following day to remove forms, and check to ensure all is well. An impressive part of this project was the replacement of a small narrow set of precarious stairs with risers that were too high and too shallow. They completely transformed the area by removing the old, and made all new safe and aesthetically symmetrical entry to our family room from the backyard patio. These guys are top shelf! Friendly professionals. And...they play great music while they work, which makes watching the evolution to the area that much more enjoyable."
