He was very professional and took time to explain his recommendations and considerations. Unlike the other companies I met with, he also provided options depending upon my budget and desire to start small or big and was willing to recommend a contractor to take down and rebuild the finished part of my basement. Overall estimate was comparable to others, approximate cost was for full basement and several windows. I ended up choosing a different company but the choice was close. I'd recommend contacting Arid when considering basement waterproofing.

They first addressed the problem from the crawlspace - installed a sump pump, water guard trench, and cleanspace wall system (they also added support to the ceiling, which is the floor of a kitchen above). My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the results! They are professional, courteous, and fastidious. Half of my garage is underground, as there is a hill in my front yard leading up to the house. The repair involved excavating dirt along the front of my house next to the garage foundation wall down to the drain pipe, repairing cracks and holes, applying waterproofing and more. The interior wall was cleaned and drylock masonry paint was applied. My landscaping on the outside had to be removed and then put back. They did such a good job that you couldn't even tell it had been moved at all. We also had Bob and his crew complete a second job for us. This involved excavating another trench but in the back of the house along 16 feet of the foundation, replacing a drain pipe and waterproofing. They were at our house for three days.
