Everyone at Falcone--the schedulers who arranged our estimate visit and the repair work, the foundation experts who repaired the porch, the finance people who explained the estimate and our final bill--every single one of them was helpful, prompt, courteous, and great at their jobs. The county inspector who reviewed the porch repair even made a point of telling us what high quality work the Falcone people had done for us! I would definitely call them again! If you're interested in our specific details, this repair was crucial to maintaining our house's structural integrity; since the screened-in porch is attached to the house, if it went down the hill, so would the back wall of the house! The foundation had cracked away from the main house and the slab was cracked and sliding apart at different angles. The men from Falcone excavated, cleaned, and prepped the job site, including washing the bottom section of the slab to promote bonding when the new concrete was poured. Then they poured a porch perimeter slab wall under the slab to stabilize the foundation. In addition, they installed a backer rod and applied concrete sealant to re-connect the porch foundation to house and prevent additional damage."

Mark, the landscape and lighting designer, walked the property with me and was full of ideas. He didn't draw up any sketches -- he said that just cost more money -- but that was OK with me since he gave me a good idea of what he was thinking. We went back and forth on email and the phone several times to nail down the design and price. Mark was really helpful and very responsive -- a seasoned landscaper who knows his stuff. The crew who did the work was led by Jon, the owner, and they were all pleasant and professional. Jon and Mark both took time to explain things to me about what they were doing and how to maintain it since lawn and garden care is not among my favorite things to do. The work included tilling up my current lawn and laying new sod, creating and planting new beds, tearing up and replanting old beds, laying pavers as a deck landing, removing several small trees, and general yard cleanup in my backyard (mostly natural area).
