"Our project was one step and a landing on our porch. Approx. 30 sq feet. We had the top layer of tile removed and concrete around the door area chiseled and jack hammered away. They then cut fossil stone for risers and step/landing in large squares as requested. They did put up a moisture barrier at the entrance and calked after grouting the stone. This was done upon the City of Downeys expectations. I believe that wouldn't have been done had I not called the city to come by to clarify the code for this job. So my only complaint is that some workers, actually most don't keep up or research the code. Then when the city does visit you may have to tear down a project and re do it. That can be costly and frustrating. Our porch and step look great. Not sure if the cost to us was cheap, but it is done and looks great."

"This is the second time I've hired Del Mar for my landscaping needs and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They've managed to turn my overgrown, junky backyard into a beautiful oasis. They removed all of the ugly, weed-infested planters I had and put down a high quality artificial turf. They also made sure my palm trees were removed from their cracked pots and planted into the ground, and help me replace a dead orange tree. Everything looks fantastic now. Before the end of the year, I plan to have them help me turn and overgrown area behind my garage into a hidden private grotto with a jacuzzi and gazebo."

Everything from our first conversation about the upcoming project is fully estimated in detail and documented in both email and text by Robert. His attention to customer service is beyond compare. The cost is very fair. The level of perfection that the entire crew puts forth is really enjoyable to witness. Our most recent project was a concrete patio replacing a preexisting. wooden deck that, over the years was in disrepair. Robert and his crew demo'd the structure in short order, leaving a clean area. The next morning they installed rebar and forms. The next day they were here bright and early w/ concrete pump, truck, and in no time had the new patio slab looking fabulous. Robert himself, always returns the following day to remove forms, and check to ensure all is well. An impressive part of this project was the replacement of a small narrow set of precarious stairs with risers that were too high and too shallow. They completely transformed the area by removing the old, and made all new safe and aesthetically symmetrical entry to our family room from the backyard patio. These guys are top shelf! Friendly professionals. And...they play great music while they work, which makes watching the evolution to the area that much more enjoyable."
